I have what it probably a very basic question for you guys but: I belong to a niche membership site and have downloaded what I think are files for a website. When I open the folder there is a text salesletter, and index file, a graphics file then there is another folder titled images which is just that. Images of the product, credit card logo's etc. I'm not sure how to proceed with these. I opened the index file with a free website builder and see the page with no images with obvious text to edit. Am I to cut and paste the images there or do I just upload everything to my server. sorry for the naivness of my question! thanks

Brian

thanks, yeah there are no images. I was able to drop them in but was curious why they wouldnt have already been there in the first place. I couldnt seem to edit the text though in that format. I will have to experiment more I suppose.

these are most likely files that are to be hosted on your web server, no? try dragging the index file onto your internet shortcut (or you can navigate to it via File >> Open File). If you want to edit the index file, open it up in Notepad (though there are better editors out there) - that's where you can edit it. Then upload everything via FTP to your website's www or public_html folder and you will see it when you type in your url.
