I tried to install Dublin Core Meta data by pgogy, but it displayed this right on the page so anybody can see it:

dublin_core_subject:
dublin_core_title:
dublin_core_description:
dublin_core_contributor:
dublin_core_rights:

So I uninstalled the plugin but the text is still on the page. I cant find anything in the database and no changes in any php files and I have no cache. I also checked that the plugin files are deleted and they are.

I am out of ideas how to get this plugin fully uninstalled... Any suggestions?

Does it appear on all pages or just certain ones?

Sounds like a plan. Just take a backup

Just tried manual inserting a row into wp_postmeta for a page on a test install. I'm not seeing the behaviour you're getting with the meta post data being output in the HTML. May need to tidy up something else as well?

The plug-in should really tidy up after itself.

I first tried to change one of the DC tags that was outputted and it also changed on the page right away. So I thought I was on to something, I found the 5 rows with the DC tags in them, deleted them and voila :-) they are now gone. So it seems that the plugin leaves something behind after uninstalling.

Thanks for the sparring guys :-) It was nice :-)

If you really want to be sure its not uninstalled, simply go into your FTP folder wp-content/plugins/ find the plugin, delete the folder out of that directory and your good to go.

Unless as in this case the plugin has some leftovers in a table. In this case 5 rows in wp_postmeta that wasn't deleted in the uninstallation process.
