I need some Blog help

So I want to start a blog, first and build from there. My plans are to start off with Wordpress and go from there but then I got threw some of the setup, and they want a blog name and address, otherwise you pay for the domain threw them I believe. Anyways, so I get to that point and I'm thinking to myself, Blog name? Like I'm going to talk about Nail Polish or something...Anyways I need some Advice or some direction on what maybe some did or what is the best way to go about this.
I also hope I put this Post in the right place.

    Why not go to someone like Godaddy, pay 8 dollars a month and a 99 cent domain and install wordpress from there?

    2. Sign up for a web hosting account
    3. Set up WordPress on your web hosting account (usually a one-click process)
    4. Create content

      Those are terrible companies.

      If you want to get a domain and hosting from the same company, use a well-respected excellent company like Namecheap. Otherwise you'll be sorry in the long-run, and may lose your domain. You've been warned!

    A few thoughts... don't buy the domain name at the same place you get your hosting... (Google why if interested)

    If you're interested in building a single blog - an authority site... any domain name you chose is equally good... try your own name first!

    If you're serious - get paid hosting and buy your domain name - don't put it on a freebie like Blogger or Weebly... if you really aren't serious yet, then ignore this - and find a free host to play around on...

    But when you get serious, you need to own the property. It's a waste to send any backlinks toward someone else's property (such as Blogger, for example)

    But what are you planning to do?

    "Put up a website" is not a plan... that's merely a step along the way of a real goal.

    Just my two cents worth...

    You can purchase domain from Godaddy and it will at a low cost. You can give your domain name like beautifulnailart, nailartgallary etc.
