Need help with this graphic process

Want to create my graphics in Illustrator. What's the process of getting the graphic on my website? What do I save my graphic as in illustrator? Once I do that then ---> Photoshop ---> PNG? Thanks guys.

  • Hi, it's my first comment here, i don't know what you want exactly!! but i think that you wanna save the Work which you do it on Ai into Web, if that so, you must click : Shift + Ctrl + Alt + S (shortcut) for web and then choice the type of file you want (PNG, JPG or GIF).

  • Depends on the image, some save better (look better), or smaller file sizes in different formats. As mentioned, most images are either JPG or PNG. GIF is usually for animated images.

    Just need to see which format is best for the image. Big key is to keep file size as small as possible while still retaining quality. To help you page load times.

  • Appreciate it guys. I don't want to do it "a way" I want to do it the best way possible. That's why I ask rather than mediocre google results.
  • The best option is to save the image and then also save for the web. That way you'll have the original for editing and a good quality but smaller image ideal for a website.
