Niche for web Designer

Hi,

As i`m in the process of rebranding my webdesign business I wonder what niche is more in demand for webdesign ?

Maybe web Redesign, Ecommerce or ???

  • PSD to template (WordPress, Joomla, Magento, etc) jobs are of high demand as I see, and the payment rate is good too as I see.

    Looking forward to see what others have to say.

    converting to psd to html and other wp or joomla its so hard task.
    but you will get good design i must say that.

    We also agree with Ekushey & Shashikant, PSD to Theme/Templates/HTML5 is on Boom, and WordPress seems on top of all. There is another option of Magento Go to other E-commerce Plateform Transfer due to Shutting down of MagentoGo.

    Selling themes & HTML5 Responsive is also a good idea.

    • This is not going to happen immediately, but by the end of this year... can imagine a huge amount of work.
  • Themes are a good niche but you would have to be amazing - sites like Themeforest Have some really good examples. Why not try an area of high demand - Hotels, Restaurants and Bars/Clubs
  • ekushey: psd to html and stuff like that are not fun for me, too much techical so i let them to guys like you

    vivacityinfotech: megentogo is a very good idea, and just it times to market that so i can create a nice authority position

    RDB85: yes good idea, Hotels, restaurants, bar can be a nice niche, mmm maybe..

    I was also thinking about the Mobile / Responsive niche, but i wonder if i`ll have to educate customers about that (and i don`t want to bang on a brick wall)
