Website Building Advice/Price (big project)
I'm currently looking to start a new project that really has the potential to explode. I've done most of the basic prepping for a web developer, such as the basic purpose, features etc.
I run multiple websites but I've never been the type to build them, as such I'm never sure of acceptable pricing. This isn't a hit and run kinda thing, I'm looking to pay for quality, reliability and service.
The main element of the website would need to behave in a similar way to Woocommerce. We will be selling a lot of digital products but I expect a lot of custom work would be required. Certain users need to be able to upload files and enter various parameters as well as assign tags and such before requiring approval from an admin to appear on the website.
Other registered members will also need to be assigned varying levels of accessibility. The easiest way to explain it is that some individuals should be able to post a digital item on a private page only accessible to another particular group. So a general market for 1 group of users, and then a second between an individual and another type of group. Sorry, I realize this is not the best description lol
Outside of the Woocommerce features, we're also looking for someone very experienced with the Twitch API as it will be heavily involved in the website including register/login, adding a personal page to an account and also tracking specific stats of certain channels and broadcasting messages across a bot network on command.
There's a LOT more to it but I've tried to highlight the aspects I feel would be more expensive/time consuming.
On a side note, does anyone know of a really good source of legal advice? I need someone experience with the internet that can read through privacy and usage documents and then tell me if X or X is allowed/possible.
