Contact Page Form - Spam

Hi there,

First off thank you! I love this forum. You guys are so great!

Easy question:

I get a lot of spam on a contact us page form. Its on WordPress
with contact form 7.

What do you guys do? Let it go?
Capcha?

Is there a good plugin?

    Captcha's are a good way to go, also you can use a random question on the page to fool the bots or add a button that must be clicked.

    Also, try using a spam filter on your inbox, it can catch upto 30% of spam messages, which if your volume is high enough, that is a lot.

    Captchas are broken quite regularly and though they will cut down on some of the spam you will not stop all of it. Here is a great wp plugin that I use when building websites and I haven't had to worry about spam for quite a while after finding it. I believe it will work with contact form 7 but double check to be sure.

    Captcha is the best way to eliminate most of the spam and almost all sites use captcha, including forums, blogs, social sites, etc.
