Getting Accepted Into CPA Networks

Before you apply to any CPA Network is very important that you have a clear understanding of how you will be promoting the offers available within the CPA Network. Most networks like to work with seasoned veterans within the marketing industry, so it's going to be important that you do not appear to be a newbie when it comes to marketing. You'll need to understand certain basic concepts.

Modes Of Promotion

When you review an application form for a CPA network, you'll find a listing of the types of promotion that you can select from as your means of promoting the offers.

Upon analyzing the screenshot above it shows the modes of promotion that are accepted by most CPA networks. You have the option for banner displays, pop ups, text links, PPC, SEO, stand alone emails and newsletter advertising.

You will have to decide which option you'll be using to promote the CPA offers. Since at this stage it's possible that you do not know which mode you'll be using, it's always best to select "Banners", "Text Links", and "PPC" as the options you'll be using for promoting the CPA offers. Once accepted you can always add more options to the list.

Your job is to ensure you get accepted into the network as quickly as possible and show them that you actually know what you are doing.

The first step before applying for any CPA Network is to have a professional website setup. If you have an old domain name just sitting around, then it's time to make use of that domain name, the older the domain name the better, as it can appear to be a site that was in existence for a long time.

Also create an email address based off that domain name; that is the email address you'll be using to contact them, as it's more professional.

Do not use a free email address as your mode of contact via email.

What you'll be doing is setting up this website to be a blog. You can use Wordpress that is available for free as your content management script to make things easy to setup. The reason you are setting up the site as a blog is simply because it's a quick and painless process and with some of the great free themes available online, it can look professional without you having to do a lot of work.

Once you have Wordpress setup and installed on your site, you'll need a theme to use. You can review these sites below for free themes to use for your blog.

www.skinpress.com
www.freewpthemes.net
www.wpskins.org

Review those three sites to find a free theme that you can use on your blog. Upon selecting your theme, and setting up your blog, then of course you'll need to select a niche or topic for the blog, along with having content.

This is pretty easy since you are not setting up this blog to be a site that is going to make you money necessarily, but simply to show the CPA networks that you have a professional site that will allow you to get approved quickly. Later, we can work on sites setup specifically for the CPA offers you'll be promoting. The role of this site is just to have a "dummy" site more or less that you can use to get accepted by any CPA network.

For the content of the blog, you can use PLR articles. There are many sites that offer free PLR articles that you can freely download and use on your blog. Most of these sites that offer free PLR articles will request that you signup to their newsletter but it's a small price to pay for getting free content that you can use for the setup of your blog.

Just as a quick note, PLR simply means Private Label Rights. You are receiving permission to edit and use the downloaded content on your website.

Of course you have the option of writing about ten articles on your own to fill your blog, but if you are looking to get started as quickly as possible, you can use PLR articles.

You should have at least 10 articles on your blog and have it setup in a very neat format. Do not display any ads on the blog, just ensure that what you've setup looks neat and organized.

Be sure to have a privacy policy and contact form on your blog. You can have this setup automatically by using the privacy policy plugin & contact form plugin that are available for Wordpress.

http://www.synclastic.com/plugins/privacy-policy/ http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/contact-form-7/

Okay, at this stage I'm assuming you have your blog or website all setup that you can use for applying to the CPA networks. Do not overlook this stage, since it is very important that you have a nice and professional site with good content to present to the CPA network for approval.

With your site setup, you will now also need to be prepared for a phone call. Yes, in many cases if you do not input a real telephone number that you can be reached at you will not be approved by the CPA network. The most popular and reputable CPA networks all require telephone verification.

An affiliate network specialist from the CPA network will call you and ask you a few basic questions regarding your modes of promotion.

If you input that you'll be doing Web promotion for CPA offers, they'll ask you to verify the site that you will be promoting their offers with, and if you have any idea of the types of offers you'll like to promote.

At this stage you need to sound extremely confident and sure of yourself regarding your promotion methods. Simply inform the affiliate network specialist that you will be developing websites that cater specifically to niches that are based off the type of CPA offers available within your network. The first site which is your "dummy" site should be the example of such a site.

If you've listed PPC as one of the options, more than likely you'll be asked about your experience with PPC. Never make it seem like you are new to PPC. Simply inform the specialist that you will be using Google Adwords, MSN Adcenter, and Yahoo PPC to promote a variety of offers. Do not ramble into un-necessary detail, keep it simple and to the point regarding the answers.

In most cases, the networks just want to know that a real legitimate person is behind the application. Also, they are looking for their next "top affiliate" so they are basically "feeling you out" to see if you will be an asset to them. That's why it's important that you have a professional site, and appear as if you have a set plan on promoting the offers available within their network.

To Your Success,
Shakul

    Hi Everyone,
I have found that most CPA networks will accept you if you are promoting offers with a website that has a high ranking. Most times, they will not approve you. I have successfully signed up with many CPA networks and even made thousand of dollars through them. Thanks for the write up though.

To get accepted in a cpa network all you have to do is fill out the:
1.Fill out the app and list the following info in your app. from 2. and 3.
2.The network will call you or you will have to call them to conform who you are and that you know what you are doing. They usually just want to know if you have a game plan as to how you will advertise. Simple tell them you use different methods depending on what you are promoting. Some methods are PPC-Pay Per Click, SEO-Search Engine Optimization and review sites like Hubpages or Squidoo. It helps to do so research on these topics so you have so back ground.
    3. If they ask for a reference or have you done this before, tell them you did this 3 years ago and that you are getting back into the business. So you are now applying to different networks again. Read of a couple of networks you are applying to.

    It works, hope this helps

It's not that they don't like asian. Unfortunatly we on the network side see a lot of fraud from those countries so everyone is excluded outright. We get signups everyday from people trying to scam their way onto our network. We have a responsibility to the advertisers to make sure that the leads we generate are as clean as possible.

When applying to any affiliate network your best bet is to have a good professional site and answer any questions as honestly as possible. Alot of you might not know this but alot of the bigger networks swap fraud lists. We have contacts at all the major networks so if you get turned down there you'll most likely get turned down on ours and several others as well.

Hey, I'm planning on using e-mail marketing and PPC to market the CPA offers. But my website(its actually a WP blog) has just gone live. I've only posted one post on it. Do you think I'll get accepted to any CPA network? I have a decent list of e-mails of a niche I've selected.
Is there any particular CPA network which has a higher acceptance rate? I'll apply there before I try the others.
    Thanks for the info anyway.

I have till now tried to promote mostly offers where I get commission when visitors buy something. I have neglected CPA till now mainly because I find it difficult to get accepted in CPA networks.

I am from India, and this puts severe restrictions as many networks do not allow us. Do your methods help people from India get accepted by CPA networks? I would very much like to know as this will give me a chance to explore CPA more.

If you have plan to promote the CPA offers, then go ahead and submit applications at few cpa networks and call them and let them know that you are genuine publisher and you will get traffic to cpa networks and you will make money. Just let them know how you will be promoting the CPA offers and what cpa offers you will be promoting.

Ok this is how I did it, hope it helps, this is for maxbounty.

    Step 1

I signed up putting in all my details, I used my Gmail account for my email and just filled in the rest of the information. I had a site fully up and in the box I said how I will get traffic to it and also said the main reason I want to join the network is to test PPC.

    Step 2

Got my account managers email, AIM and number and added him to my AIM account. (Show pro activeness.) Had a little chat and he phoned me.

Step 2.5 - The phone call.

I basically said, look im new to cpa and PPC, I want to learn and I feel that your network has what I need, can you recommend the high converting offers. (I was confident enough to ask him what the good offers were before I got let in.) he gave me the offers and he approved me.

Step 3 - Find the right offer for you.

So far I found 2 offers I can promote and made 2 dollars and 40cents Ok not much but still a good start, hope this helps.

I am completely new at CPA (5 weeks). I have been accepted at MaxBounty and NeverBlue.

When they called, I gave them some of my personal history and areas I have expertise (real estate, loans, sale). I already have a few article sites for adsense income. I bring that up. I guess it shows I have web experience.

I also tell them I am "testing" with a very limited budget and hope to scale up to Google. Note I am only telling them my plan, nothing I have actually done at this point.

I drop some key phrases like SEO, Article marketing, Adsense etc. I do have experience in these areas but more than that, I think that sounding like I know what I am talking about is just as important as having a big budget/ton of experience.

When I used to hire employees, I would weigh "hungry" almost as important as experience. Somebody who is committed to learning and growing is sometimes preferable to a guy who knows everything and thinks he should get hired because of his experience. Im sure they feel the same way.

johngil, incentives basically means offering free stuff, contests, etc., in exchange for their info. It's not allowed on most offers.

You have your own online business website all set up and now need to add a couple of affiliate programs to it to earn you extra income. The problem is that there are just so many affiliate programs available on the internet that it just seems impossible to know which one to choose.

    Here are a few tips that may help to make the decision a bit easier;

    1. If you find a program that really appeals to you and is right for the niche that you have chosen to work in then start off doing some research on it. Ask questions! You need to study and learn as much as possible about any affiliate program before you even think of joining.

    2. Will it cost you any money to join? Affiliate programs are generally free to join, so if there is a charge find out what the reason for that charge is and unless you are happy with the answer look for another program.

    3. How do they pay their commissions for example is it via Paypal or do they issue checks? If they issue checks is this done monthly or more often and if it is once a month on what date can you expect to be paid?

With many affiliate programs you will be required to reach a certain minimum in commission before the company will issue you with a check. In other words there is a minimum level that you are required to reach before they will post the check out to you.

    4. Ask how referrals are tracked for your affiliate website to the company and how long these will remain in the system. It is important that you have sufficient confidence in the affiliate program to know that anyone that you refer to the program or any sales that you make will be credited to you through your referral link.

It is important to know how long these referrals of yours will stay in the system as many people do not buy things immediately. They like to take some time to think it through and will often come back after some time to make the actual purchase. You need to know if you will still benefit from this sale.

    5. Find out who the retailer of the affiliate program is. You need to know something about the people you are going to be doing business with and to discover whether or not it is a solid company. This point is extremely important because you do not want your name and reputation to be associated with a disreputable affiliate company. The more you are able to learn about the retailer the easier is will be for you to decide if the affiliate program is the right one for your own online income business.

    6. Another point to consider is whether the affiliate program is a one or two tier program. A one tier program will only pay you for work that you personally have done, where as a two tier program pays you a commission for what you have done personally plus any work that is done by people that you may have sponsored into the program.

This type of affiliate program is generally better as you benefit from sponsoring people and earn a residual income with very little extra work. The beauty of residual income is that it will still bring in money for you even when you are unable to work.

Last but not least is what sort of commission the company actually pays. The percentage of the commission will be different in every company so find out what you will be earning per sale before you commit yourself. Look for the programs that offer the higher end commissions as these will be far more beneficial to your business. Remember that the success of your online income business depends how much you will be earning.

BillyA. It's really not that hard. What worked for me is to describe a traffic getting method in great detail, maybe add your own twist too. You can find several posts on this forum for great methods how a pro CPA marketer does it. Submit the application with the details, call them and be convincing. There are so many companies so it does not matter if you dont get accepted with the first one. Start with the smaller ones and when you're in with a few, try the big ones... GOod luck

yeah you really need to call them and talk with them...to get accepted. It's rare these days that the networks will accept just any newbie to promote their stuff. They want to make sure you have an understanding of legit promotion and comprehend how to not....spam...people. If you talk to them...your chances of getting accepted jump 10-fold.

I had been in Affiliate Marketing for the past 2 years and even though I have stated my profile and my traffic building strategies, many a times I had been denied acceptance by various CPA websites.

I do not know where I am doing wrong. I have followed every step you guys mentioned but didn't work for me.

I heard that there is a great deal of financial opportunity with CPA marketing, but I am unable to crack the entry itself. Might be in the near future.

Your country might be the issue, where are you from?

I am from India. That might be one of the reasons why I am not getting accepted.

Looks like many earlier marketers have pissed off CPA networks big time.

Hey guys, I'm in the same boat as many people here. I have a basic site set up, applied to MaxBounty with honest information. However it has been a week and still no response?

I'd like to be proactive and call them instead of waiting for them to call me. However, I dont know where to start to find out how or who to call. Where can I get that information?

Keep trying don't give up, show them you know how the wheel works and you can get dozens of wheels working for them, and then start rolling in money.
