Getting accepted into Ebay partner network?

Hello

does anybody have any idea what could be the hold up in being accepted into EPN?
I bough a website that was already part of the EBay network, yet when I went to apply I got a (canned) "We regret to inform you that we cannot accept your application at this time."

Has anybody had the same experience?

Marco

Does the website have quality information on it or is it just a sales site? To get into EPN you need to have a good high quality site, then EPN listings are to be the small ads that go along with the site, hope this makes sense.

Ebay recently has been strict about who they let in...but here are some tips I've learned..

-- Make sure owner and review contacts of your website is the same on the application. EPN staff will compare domain name contacts with your EPN application to approve you. So use same contact to apply to EPN. Check iwhois dot com
--On application primary business model, select this only "content/website"
--do not mark any check box for secondary business model other than "content/website", or leave it blank
    --write a good business description
--name, email and address on EPN application must be the same as Domain Info
--include the "http colon forward slash www" into website URL
--check ebay US only if your in US, don't check all countries when applying
--check paypal for payment if you have paypal or bank direct deposit to receive earnings

Like anything, there's no guarantee but hope this helps...

I wish I would have seen this post before I applied. Hopefully, I still get accepted.

If you get rejected the first time you apply, can you re-apply right away? or do you have to wait a certain period of time?

How long does it usually take to hear back from them?

      Thank you,
      Gordon

Good work, have you made money with them yet? they seem very inconsistent lately.

Not yet! I am currently working on a few sites that will be monetized with Google Adsense and Clickbank. After these sites are completed I may build a few eBay sites.

I saw a post earlier about if you have been rejected by EPN how long does it takes to to get accepted. I have read alot in the Warrior Forum on the process to get accepted and I have done some chages to my site to get better content.

Do I have to wait a while before I re-apply again?

I don't believe so. I re-applied a few hours after receiving the rejection letter.

Thanks for this thread. I'm going to reapply now after being rejected several months ago. This is really helpful.

I applied ages ago and never got a rejection or denial.

I've had my focus on other monetization methods but I'd still like to get into EPN at some point. I'm going to send off a new application and see if they even respond this time.

      Hi

I have recently jumped into affiliate marketing. In last few days I have been approved by following :-

      EPN
Amazon (US, Canada, Germany, UK & Italy)
      Neverblue
      Max Bounty
      Paydotcom
      Peerfly
      Buzzcreators
      As Seen On PC
      Commission Junction
      ShareAsale

Currently building niche websites for Amazon and CJ. I have no clue what I will be doing with CPA's at this point.

I would appreciate if someone can guide me specially about EPN, I am clueless. I come from SEO background. What I know is building and ranking sites. I am open to JV if that makes any sense.

      Thanks

Start looking for paid traffic sources that interest you and dive into them deeper.

Stuff like POF Ads, PPV, and PPC can work good for beginners.

I tried to get into the ebay partner network but got rejected too. however I do host an online search contest that can help with the expenses. just visit Ebooking your way to a second income and look at the content. then visit the link or links and go to the search bar and search for anything. searches will be tracked by ip address. the contest is every Sunday and ends every Saturday. the person with the most searches in that time wins 20 dollars via paypal or get a moneypak in the mail. happy searching and dont forget to comment in the blog
