Hi guys, what is the best ppv networks for promoting downloads and freebies?

I am new to PPV so I don't want to start with 1k deposit.

I want shortest amount of approval time for my ads until they are running.

I had a good experience with mediatraffic, they gave me a dedicated account rep and I could bug him everytime I wanted a campaign to go live. That usually happened within 48 hours, a timeframe rather short for getting PPV campaigns live, unless you're moving large volume with a big budget.

Leadimpact has a lot more traffic but you don't get a rep there and they took about twice as long to get campaigns live than media traffic. I think both networks require a $200 deposit. You could also test adonnetwork (I think they require less) but not sure about their turnaround etc. because I didn't try them.

Didn't try directcpv because they were (and are) advertising everywhere and with lots of new guys trying it out bid prices are pushed up to unprofitable amounts. Trafficvance is obviously the king but since you don't want to deposit 1k it's out of reach for now.

I agree with BacklinExcellence. DirectCPV is crowded but definitely still try them out. With a good scraper either through Affportal or Affdev you can find some low cost gems especially with international offers. Email capture your traffic for bigger ROIs. DirectCPV is $100 initial and there are a ton of deposit coupons from $25 to $50, just do a search. I would avoid AdOn and Clicksor (at least PPV wise).

if you do decide to go with directcpv, be sure you actively track where those views go because ive heard from others and seen myself that they will charge you for views that have nothing to do with your targeting. I had a 500+ click = 0 conv from that.

yeah I am leaning with mediatraffic mainly cuz of campaign approval time. but leadimpact I am looking into as well since ppl say it's better quality traffic. If my campaigns go well, I will scale up or try tv.

I just want to add that I made an enquiry recently to DirectCPV, and they answered me honestly that they did not have sufficient traffic for a given country (very specific) and that it wouldn't make sense depositing money for that, so I actually must give thumbs up for their honest response, makes me trust them even more.

You can use Affportal.com or affdev.com and use their software to scrape urls based on keyword phases. The most popular scraper is the one used to take the top 1-10 results from Google, MSN, and Yahoo given a certain keyword phase. 200 keywords will give you roughly 2000 urls (there are bound to be some duplicates which the PPV networks usually recognize).

They're all fine, I have profitable campaigns with all of them, Trafficvance has solid traffic and I used to recommend starting with them but $1000 is a big commitment for most people and I see most of them burn through it in a week with nothing to show for it.

In that regard, it's probably better to start with a lower deposit network so you can manage your money better. When you have $1000 into something, you're enticed to spend it quickly.

Adonnetwork is an aggregator, it pulls CPV traffic from a number of networks, some you know, some that are private sources, but you never know who the traffic is coming from, just publisher id's. I probably wouldn't start with them until you have some solid campaigns going elsewhere.

Trafficvance is a good source of CPV traffic. Yes, it is expensive to get started there. But since their traffic converts better, your ROI is better. So in the end, it is not really "expensive."

As stated in this thread, you will need to track. Keep your campaign minimums low. Then track impressions and conversions per URL. If a URL has a disproportionate amount of impressions, it will blow your campaign budget. In that case, it is best to pull it out to it's own campaign.

You can quickly split test your landing pages using a rotator. If you use Neverblue, they have a built-in rotator. Be sure to specify that your URL rotates landing pages before you submit your campaign for approval at Trafficvance. They do come back and check. If they find that you have changed your URL, they will have grounds to terminate you from the network.

In Trafficvance, you also have the option to use textlinks. They can work with proper testing.

I have also used Mediatraffic and Adonetworks. They are a distant 2nd and 3rd choice for me. I met with the Mediatraffic rep at a show. I asked him about why their traffic has gotten worst. He told me to give him a call so that he can work with me to optimize my campaign. I may take him up on it.

I myself would suggest Leadimpact, other than Trafficvance I'd say they're the best PPV network around.

Good quality traffic, cheap bids, good customer support. Only $200 minmum deposit too. Considerably lower than Trafficvance's $1000.

Interesting thread, I've been thinking of getting into PPV more seriously, and a good alternative to Mediatraffic has been hard to choose. I've tried Adonnetwork, but that didn't convert at all for me. I might give LeadImpact a try!
