Thank you for replying.
Another question: Do they need photo ID of people from certain countries or from everyone?

Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.

I believe it's from everyone, but they are a trusted company and I have dealt with them directly. So far everything seems fine, they have paid me out on my earnings, and are continuing to help me make my campaigns better.

they need it from everyone. i suggest you provide them with an ID that carries both your Photograph as well as your Address/ Ph number.
example: Driver's license/Passport

and yes, they are trusted.

It's to prove that you match the info on your application. A simple fraud check for them and shouldn't be a big deal.

I am not with PeerFly, but heard many good words about them.
The ID verification is for me a normal procedure, so I would'n be affraid to give them my ID.

By the way - I think that it's time to try to get in to PeerFly and to provide them some good and valuable conversions

I disagree with the comments made here in terms of the general statement that "no problem". I do have a problem with this not because I don't trust the outfit but it is a fact that not every person in a company is necessarily honest, and no one is 100% safe from hacking.

If they already have my SS#, birthday, name, and bank acct#, tel# and email address, WHY do they need my driver's licesnse or passport too?

Identity theft is real, and I would rather provide less than all of my personal info in one place.

There are many other fine networks out there that seem comfortable with less than my total personal identification info.

Peerfly to me is just not worth the risk.

O.o

@Nick, PeerFly is a great network, I don't know what you are talking about lol. Maybe it's the fact that you just don't know how to use them properly.

@Creature, I agree that it is a bit much, but I understand why. It's for legal reasons, security for advertisers, and a way to find REAL publishers. I also understand your reasoning on why you don't want to provide this information and you don't have to. Find another network and go on your way. They've been great to me and I hope they continue to succeed.

I would totally disagree with nick and Creature.

Peerfly is one of the sweetest network. They ask everyone to submit these kind of proofs just to eliminate fraud.

We require an ID to prove you are who you say you are. All of that information can be easily faked or stolen. That's one of the reason we require an ID. Someone could have all of the above information and sign up using that information but it's unlikely they have an ID of yours.

Thanks guys.

For anyone interested, here are some facts about PeerFly:
  • Our main offices are located in Florida.
  • We launched in 2008.
  • We're proud members of the following organizations and groups:
    • The Performance Marketing Association (PMA)
The Performance Marketing Association is a not-for-profit trade association founded in 2008 by the leaders of the performance marketing industry, to connect, inform and advocate on behalf of this rapidly growing field. The Performance Marketing Association (PMA) strives to raise the profile of performance marketing by demonstrating the value of this multi-billion marketing channel, which comprises more than 200,000 businesses and individuals.
      More info: http://PerformanceMarketingAssociation.com/

    • The Executive Council of Performance Marketing (ECPM)
The Executive Council of Performance Marketing is an exclusive, private group of over 100 C-Level executives from within the performance marketing industry. The impetus behind the creation of this group was to help create dialogue between the executives of trusted companies about those issues are hindering the growth in this segment of industry. The hope is to allow the decision makers to combat some of the issues that online marketing encounters both short term and long term.
      More info: http://ECPMGroup.org/

    • Blue Book Blue-Ribbon Panel
The members of the Blue-Ribbon Panel were carefully selected to provide insights from a broad cross-section of the performance marketing industry.
      More info: http://mthink.com/bluebook/content/b...-panel-members

    • Better Business Bureau (BBB)
BBB Accreditation is an honor – and not every company is eligible. Businesses that meet our high standards are invited to join BBB. Businesses meeting BBB standards are presented to local Boards of Directors (or designees) for review and acceptance as a BBB Accredited Business.
      More info: http://www.BBB.org/north-east-florid...usiness-guide/

  • We're the 2nd best CPA affiliate network according to a survey completed by 4,000 OfferVault members. You can see those results here: Top 10 CPA Networks as voted by OfferVault users.
  • We're a top 20 CPA network according to Revenue Performance magazine.
  • We're currently ranked #3 according to publisher reviews on AffiliatePaying (out of 700+ networks).
  • We're ranked #1 according to AffiliateSeeking (out of 170 networks).
  • We have all positive reviews on Internet Marketing Report Card.

Requiring an ID is just one of the measures that we use to protect our advertisers from fraud and it wouldn't surprise me to see requiring an ID become a standard for all networks. If you're absolutely uncomfortable with uploading an ID then we'll find a way to work around that with you.
