where do you host your tracking202?

Hi guys,

I want to install tracking202.
they recommend hosting it with 'beyond hosting'. but it is $45 a month and I already have a hosting account with godaddy.

is anyone hosting tracking202 at godaddy? does it work ok?

Where do you guys host your tracking 202?

What type of hosting do you have with godaddy? shared? how much traffic do you plan on running through? the worry is if it is shared hosting then it might not be able to keep up with the quantity of traffic

I have a shared hosting plan.
I am still testing the traffic quantity, it is around 150 clicks per day for now, but it should go up in the next week since i am increasing the budget of my campaign.

Why don't you go for a shared hosting plan. It would reduce your cost. Just try it.

We recommend using a VPS for best performance, but stay away from shared hosting.

A virtual Private Server (VPS) is pretty much a standard when it comes to running 202, if you're going to be running more than 100-150 clicks per day then you are losing money by not investing in a dedicated server.

If you've got the budget to enter the paid traffic arena then the cost of a dedicated server is minimal and is essential to your success.

Hey mubb,

I have tracking202 set up on a shared hostgator account too, but seeing how I'm getting about 400 clicks a day now, I'm going to switch to VPS at Beyond. I can let you know how it goes

that would be great MTVida, let me know how this goes with you.

Hey mubb,

Just want to drop in and let you know how it went.

Honestly, it went way smoother than I expected it to. The accounts at beyond are managed accounts, so they handled all the tranfers for me. They were very fast and professional, and it was completed within a few hours. It seemed their main goal was to get me up and running ASAP.
