    Yes. I recommend using a meta refresh:

    HTML Code:
    <!doctype html>
    <html lang="en">

    <head>

    	<meta charset="utf-8" />
    	<title>Page Title</title>
    	<meta name="description" content="" />

    	<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;url=http://www.lukepeerfly.com">

    </head>

    <body>

    <p>One moment...</p>

    </body>

    </html>

      I just phoned facebook advertising and they told me I'm not allowed to redirect to an affiliate link.

      So I'm getting conflicting answers which is confusing.

      I will request a callback asking this question with the link I want to advertise.

        They will approve ads with redirects. If you are using any kind of tracking software, it will have multiple redirects.

        May I know where can I find the number for facebook ads or perhaps you might want to give me?

          Click on create ad in your facebook account then you will see the facebook ads phone number.

        I redirect to my affiliate link most of the time, but if that's not converting well enough I'll test my own landing page.

          Do you first use a landing page that will pass their review and then do the redirect after the ad has been approved, or do you make the redirect straight of the bat (before the review)?

            I get the actual redirect approved. If I want to use a lander I'll get that approved as a new campaign.

    Yes you can, but most of the time you should at least split test with your own landing page

    ...why would you recommend "meta tags" over "php"?!?

      It's a different type of redirect. If you wanted to add a retargeting pixel, the Facebook meta tags, or anything like that you'd be able to do that easily

      I've gotten many more links with meta refresh approved than PHP redirect.

    You could pass the variables through a php redirect too, but if you're not comfortable with coding, go with the meta redirect.

      You can also pass variables using a meta refresh with PHP.

    Yes they allow it. I'd recommend you to use HTML/Javascript/PHP redirection, each one is prefect for your needs.

      Should work absolutely fine. I use it still and actually built a tool into FPTraffic that allows you to create links using this same script in just a few seconds. I'm seeing consistent traffic and approvals

        Hi Luke,

        With Facebook's new Power Editor for PPC Sponsored Posts, you have to direct traffic to a fanpage. Would it be possible to place a redirect code to an affiliate offer from there?

    One more case in point, they do't allow linking to prosper 202 tracking.

    There's a difference in what policy allows and what you can get a way with, I have noticed that even paused campaign links are still getting visits from Facebook, so the chances of slipping in a redirect after initial approval might not fly for long.

    Hmm if not allowed linking to p202, so how we track?

    Use landing pages?

    I have test if using lp , fb allowed it
    But if directlinking to our p202 url , fb autoblock the links.

      I'll usually create an unpublished post with an image and put my link in the description. There's a good guide on it here:

      You can track without Prosper202. I'm simply using the meta refresh I mentioned earlier in this thread

        Hi Luke
        I'm a complete newbie to facebook ads to cpa, I created some ads to a peerfly offer with my affiliate link disguised with a redirect using ersadmin. The ads were approved but the link had been changed to a direct link to the offer without my affiliate link. How do I get around this in terms that I have half a chance of understanding?

    I've never had that happen. If you create your own redirect page you shouldn't have any issues.

    iFrame leaks the referrer ,therefore direct redirect is better than iframe
