So a few of my affiliates are getting traffic from 7Search but its so bad! Any other recommendations for traffic aside from 7Search? I guess you get what you pay for

True you get what you pay for, though not necessarily lot of time you need to have enough experience to utilize traffic properly, 7search is big network and they sell big amount of traffic, which means traffic must be doing well for many advertisers, it may be you need check your landing pages or your offer and also best way is get traffic from their publishers only who's traffic doing well for you, if you talk about overall traffic then it may not work, so you should choose some of their good source and bid only for those.

I heard bad things about 7search, too. Most of the guys I talked to said their traffic was bad and didn't convert. Some even wondered from where they would get that traffic.Like you said, You get what you pay for.

You couldn't have said it better - you always get what you pay for and there are almost no shortcuts.

Stick to Adwords PPC, BING PPC (search network only!) and Facebook PPC (sponsored timeline ads only!). These are my 3 best traffic sources to date and consistently give me both quality-traffic and high volumes. It may look expensive but wherever there is competition, there is money to be made and there's still plenty of ROI to be had with good margins if you think "outside the box" when creating your keyword lists and come up with some catchy USP angles.

But you really don't need to look anywhere else for solid traffic if you want to make a decent income from CPA or CPL.

    Hope that helps

It's pretty ignorant to state a whole traffic network doesn't work just because it doesn't suit your product.

Even if that, it simply may be the copywriting, landing page, and method of promotion that is wrong. So many details and nuances are being over looked.

People say the same thing about adfly, linkbucks, and PTC traffic, but its the same thing. If you promote a product about dogs to people who are interested in eating oranges of course your product won't convert.

    But with that said

    Facebook
    Adwords
    Bing

have better options to generate traffic suited to the keyword of your choosing so you don't have to make a product that conforms to the audience of the traffic network.

7search is good if you do ppc properly and block bad referrers

its all about testing, and making sure your copy is good. And do not bid too low. I find bidding higher will get you better quality traffic like with any ppc provider.

being a cheap skate will get you dismal results.

Remember the more you hunt around for higher quality traffic, the better results you will get. Just saying!

You get what you pay for, $0.05 a click is low af so I guess it could be a good place for people to get their feet wet with PPC. I personally question the quality of traffic more often than not and where the traffic is really coming from. It's not all bad though, you just have to have the right niche for the traffic that they can deliver + once you test and find what works make sure to blacklist the subids that are sending you the shit quality. Not much room to scale up though, I would definitely look into mixing the traffic up with this source.

my opinion is that needed to try many new PPC networks which just appearing on the market. there could be small bids as no competition and probably some quality.
for example I heard that DNTX was initially very easy to getting ROI until it become popular.

I tried 7Search as well. In overall it is very bad network to me. I was getting few conversions there, but main problem is that there are too many bad sources where traffic comes from and you need big investment to try everything and block all bad.

I'll go back to 7search if/when they introduce the option to white-list source IDs. It's pretty lame when you've found the sources you want, yet you still gotta chase and block the new batches of absolute crap they send you every day.

      This is just not true.
Can you share what you have tried? Perhaps we can give you some ideas on how to improve. Also, spending $50 on one traffic source and not getting any conversions doesn't necessarily mean the traffic source is not profitable.

I blow some $100+ in the past with one conversion of $23. Obviously it is a failure campaign but I recently read some good things about it and am trying with a $50. No conversion yet. And yes I am not into email/ zip submits but PPS offers. Let us see.

50$ -100$ sometimes are not enough for testing. you have to invest more especially with a source like 7search -which I like very much. also you should raise the bids to avoid the bot sources.
I also use Selfadvertiser for PPC, found that Google and Bing are too competitive for me.
