There's a lot of talk about CPA but what I've read is all for affiliate wanting to pomote CPA offers. Can anyone tell me how to put a product on a CPA network for affiliates to promote?

Any info would be much appreciated
Thanks

Signup for commission junction and fill the form out.

Never done it, but I doubt it would be too hard. Sure you would get ton of support by email or phone if you needed it also.

It depends on the network.. What kind of product are you trying to sell? Niche specific? Digital?

Agreed, every network is different. CJ requires $3,000 just to apply then a minimum balance of $500 in your account at all times. (they also require a deposit of $3,000 on top of the $3,000 "admin" fee). It's expensive but if you have something their affiliates like, it will pay for itself easily.

Some smaller ppc and ppv networks like Pulse360 and Findology will also make private deals on a cpa basis. From what I understand it's a much smaller startup investment.

I've run several offers as an advertiser and I can tell you the biggest thing they look at is the conversion rate, your EPC and the mass appeal of the offer.

If you can go in and show them your conversion rates and EPC across multiple mediums...PPC, Banners, Current Affiliates, Email Drops, etc. And all looks pretty solid, they'll work with you.

As far as up-front payments are concerned...some networks charge an inclusion fee + a spend account. Others may charge around $5K to $10K upfront but it's used to pay for affiliate sales. Kind of like a reserve of funds.

Make sure you stipulate how many orders you are willing to take on per day...and be very specific on what type of traffic you want to your offer and any verticals that do well. You can be as specific or as broad as you want in regards to traffic.

For a new offer, you may want to start out on a smaller network...and then go after the big boys like Clickbooth, Copeac and Azoogle later on, once you have established your offer in the CPA world.

Hope that helps and Good luck with your offer!

I forgot to mention one thing...

This is down the road, after you have your offer running.

Keep an eye on your reports for the super affiliates promoting your offers.

Just like affiliate programs, it the 80/20 rule...80% of your conversions are coming from 20% of your affiliates. Actually with CPA it could be more like a 95/5 rule.

Once you identify these guys...have your account manager contact them, and give them exclusives, custom pages, higher payouts, etc. Just 1 super affiliate can bring in all the traffic and conversions you can handle.

              Treat these guys like GOLD!

This is a fairly standard promotion type. Others might pay as much as $37 for an optin (though if the payout is higher, the offer might require much more information from the customer or ask for a small upfront payment.

In essence you, as a CPA marketer, are really a traffic broker: You buy traffic on one end, send it to an offer page and get paid based on how well it converts. Sounds so simple, doesn't it? It can be easy, but it generally isn't.

Because it is so profitable, CPA marketing is extremely competitive, and for a beginner, it can be intimidating to start trying to compete with super-affiliates making $100k a day and even more, or even with the more common affiliates who are making $500 to $1,000 a day running CPA campaigns. When you try to get started, you're going to be up against all of that competition, and it can be very challenging. The truth is, a lot of beginners simply get frustrated and give up when they figure out that CPA marketing can be difficult and expensive.

CPA marketing can be all that the sales letters say it can be - you really can make $100k a day if you know what you're doing - but it can also be frustrating if you jump in without the right information.
The Check this out! course can get you off on the right footing so that you can start making money almost right away without the stress of worrying you'll lose your shirt.

I believe if you want a product put into the CPA networks, you need to show its converting, its getting traffic, its sales are growing. It needs to be all going up and not just little money but big money. Thats what I was told if I want to get into the cpa networks. Because once your in, you will get a serious, i mean serious, traffic boost.

TO promote on the major cpa networks you will need capital and need to demonstrate you are an effective advertiser. Many networks may require a significant up front payment to even get started.

Makes a lot of sense to optimize your offer on yoru own for a while before you start paying for leads that dont convert.

Call some of the smaller cpa networks and get started that way.

Definitely agree with Kenster. Make sure you test your offer before you try it in the CPA networks. They want to see that you have the ability to make money.

You're also going to want to make sure your processes are bulletproof. The email marketing and page optimization needs to be spot on. The checkout processes and merchant account needs to be solid.

All in all, make sure you put the work into your product and have some data, and you'll be good.

        I agree with that one..

Yeh you usually need 10k min and a real good credit score. on my network I let some (non-main stream) advertisers in, but only prepaid.
You got to understand networks want your offers, but more then that they need to be paid to ensure they won't have to payout an affiliate out of pocket. I have let 3 people i personally know put their offers on my network however like i said above it is prepaid.

Every network has their own rules and requirements, i suggest contacting some affiliate owners on here via PM, or go here
