Hi guys. I'm new here and the only money I've managed to raise online is from writing articles. I'd like to make money through cpa, affiliate marketing and adsense. A lot of the advice is based on getting a doamin with the target keyword and then start working on it. Unfortunately, this would mean that i buy a domain name, set up a site and then approach a cpa network for consideration. However, i thought i could do well with a supersite - treasuredreviews.com. My question is:

How should i start?
Should i have sub-domains to sell specific products or should i just have the main site selling different products in different pages?
I have also joined affiliatebot.com. Is it a nice place to start with?

Thanks.

It really depends how and what you are promoting. If you are trying to promote purely organic, then having a million subdomains wont be very effective.

Subdomains are fine for some campaigns, but not good for others like PPC.

Possible give us some more detail on your plan!

Glad to see you getting into CPA though...its a darn good model!

Its easy but I would recommend you focus one thing. Like cpa or adsense, or affiliate marketing websites. Personally cpa is the easiest but you need to understand it. If I were you I would get dirty cpa, its good.

Huge. I encourage everybody to make a business plan, even if they are just looking to develop a small supplemental income stream.

Planning is ginormously important. So important that I even made up a word to emphasize its importance

The reason people suggest getting a domain with a target keyword and going after that one niche is because having a domain with the target keyword (especially if it's an EXACT match) helps SEO a lot. Since you write articles, you have an upper hand in that you don't have to deal with paying someone to write articles or rewrite PLR. I realize it requires a bit of upfront expense in buying the domain, but it's well worth it when you find yourself getting a lot of free traffic you wouldn't be getting with a general domain trying to do a supersite.

Plus, after you get a bunch of them up and going, you can THEN do a supersite to tie them all together if you wish. You might then get a supersite to rank for stuff you wouldn't have before because you'll have plenty of seed sites with some juice at that point to link to it.

You already have a skill set to start marketing CPA offers.

If you are experienced with article marketing you can start campaigns from there.

Once you get into a CPA network ( search some threads here to find out how to do that) ask your Manager to give you 3 or 4 hot selling promotions.

Go to the article directories and do your keyword research and see how others are promoting the offer. Write your articles .

Use godaddy to purchase a cheap "info" domain for 99 cents, you can then just re direct the offer using the info domain. Godaddy has masked forwarding that takes no time or skill to set up.

Submit your articles and see what converts, if you find a good campaign have someone help you with a landing page and promote the heck out of it.

    Rinse-repeat.
