You can easily turn to CPA marketing if you already have experience with Clickbank, because the same key is to drive traffic and make sales or leads, which called "promotion"

      Thanks for the reply

It's to my understanding that CPA stands for Cost Per Action right?

So I would basically be driving traffic to promotions which would involve them signing up for something, opting in or purchasing something?

It's something I've never thought of getting into lol

What kind of things are promoted through CPA? is it mainly insurance and dating offers etc, rather than products like e-books and software?

      Thanks

CPA isn't a lot different than what you've been doing until know. The process to get traffic and conversions doesn't change drastically.

The only difference is that CPA offers you more flexibility, so you can use a slightly different structure to make more money out of your traffic. For example, when you capture leads to promote a CPS offer with an autoresponder series you can also try to get extra conversions by promoting a lead gen offer on the thank you page. By doing something like this, you can add CPA to your current business and get the feeling on how it works without changing your process/model dramaticaly.

CPA stands for Cost Per Action, also known as Cost Per Acquisition , is a type of marketing that usually involves you generating leads for companies and in turn, those companies giving you a small payment for each lead.

When you join any CPA networks, you would have an access to hundreds of CPA offers. Now, if you want to promote one of those offers, you will have your own URL. If you send visitors to advertisers websites through your affiliate link , you get paid if visitors you send take action.

This simply means the visitor fills out some requested information at the merchant site, which the merchant site may use as a sales lead or sell to another company as a sales lead.
Refer the following two threads to get more info about CPA marketing basics :

    Hi, spope91

Cost per Action, and popularly known as CPA is a profitable business concept. It is quite popular in the present Internet Marketing scenario. CPA Marketing is a financially rewarding online earning model with significantly lower amount of work involved, compared to other online earning models.

In CPA offers, often the visitors only need to fill out a simple form mentioning email address or postal code (ZIP Code). Offers asking for ZIP Codes only are very likely to be converted, as visitors see no harm filling the ZIP code of their area. But, all of the CPA offers are not so simple to be completed. Some of the offers require a visitor to fill in a lengthy form. The form asks the visitors lots of personal information to be filled in. Needless to say that, conversion rate is much lower in such CPA offers. But, pay out rate is always higher for such offers. So, a massive flow of targeted visitors is always prerequisite in order to complete a higher payout CPA offers.

    Hope it help.

I have a question. Is it better to direct your traffic to your site and use a redirect to the offer or better to have several offers on the site and direct traffic to that?

Well that really depends on how you want to tackle it...

Several offers on one site will give you the ability to generate multiple conversions from one consumer and you're offering more products and services to the consumers so those are both positives....however, if you flood your website with banners and copy asking consumers to buy this, fill out this form, ETC..you may teeter on information and ad overload which is a negative...

It also depends on the theme of your site...if you have a site dedicated to insurance, financial services or something like that for example...there are multiple offers that you can place...for insurance you can have a section for life, health, auto....for finance you can have offers for credit reports, debt settlement, taxes and so on...

So you have the option to do whatever you want but just be careful you're not flooding the website with ad's...consumers want to feel comfortable and confident when they hit a site and in order to trigger a conversion they must feel a level of comfort from your site....also there should be other content on the site besides copy and banners connected to the offers...as a consumer if i hit a domain and all i see is buy this, check this out, i feel forced and I'm reluctant to stay on the site and come back....it's all about a healthy balance so if you decide to promote one offer or multiple, try and provide valuable content because that's they key in my opinion.

        Best of luck
