There are 2 fee structures. One is fixed based on product categories. The other one is based on volume (number of items shipped) for general categories. If you go to Help on the left-hand side of your Amazon account, over to the right you'll see a section called Top Questions. There's a link there about the fee structures and you can see what's in both of the structures and how they're set up.

    Hope that helps!

Rory found it thanks. Was searching for affiliates instead of associates...

Something else and I know its super depending on many different factors.
But ball park figures what kind of conversion rate can one expect from a customer in shopping mode for a 2-300 dollar popular electronic product.
      0.5%, 1%, 3%...?
      Thanks

If a commission is paid on electronics, it's usually 4%. Sometimes it's not paid, though. It may not be a qualifying item, or if somebody looked at the item through somebody else's link, or went directly to Amazon without clicking on your link, a commission won't be generated for you.

This is what it says on Amazon:

"Caps: Personal computers (both desktops and laptops) have advertising fees capped at $25, and Amazon Video On Demand as well as Amazonmp3 products are capped at $1.50 per item.
Additional exclusions may apply. See the Operating Agreement for details."

You'd have to reading the Operating Agreement to see what other exclusions there may be.
