Struggling to make money with PPV, trying so hard

Hey Guys

So I have been putting in so much time and effort into PPV and I am not seeing any results or conversions.

Take a look at some of my landing pages

I have not lost too much money but still dissapointed. I have been targeting the perfect URLS and have very low bids. Been doing all my research,

My conversion rates are only between 4-10% and no one is actually completing the offers. Any advice maybe I am missing something, any good books to read?

My strategy has been to find an offer I would use if I was the target audience. Find the right urls to target through 6 different techniques to get a good diversity and lots of lateral thinking happening. Then create very enticing landing pages. Its not working though I must be missing something.

I have tested about 6 different offers so far and variations of certain ones. I have tested about 6 different offers so far and variations of certain ones. Have not even made a single conversion!

My CTR is between 4-10% depending on the offer, I am using bevomedia to track the whole think and want links are doing well. So far I have only had a few links that have been really bad and cut them.

I am just so dissapointed I have spent over $50 testing out as much as possible and havent even seen a single conversion

Yeah, CTR is the very first thing you should improve, try to apply some more advanced techniques like audios, flashing borders, and don't forget to rotate your landers, etc

The biggest improvement you could make on your landing pages is the call to action. Right now, they don't stand out enough. Try using big, bold, blue text.

What traffic source are you running these on?

$50 isn't really much, so don't be disappointed. I don't know anyone really that's found winning campaigns with their first $50 spend.

Alright I will try to add some flashy sort of call to action stuff to catch people attention and may try audio. I do rotate my landing pages and see which ones do best and then remove the bad ones.

I am running everything on lead impact at the moment. Reason I feel disappointed is because every time I have failed I get so motivated to make it work I come back and build a campaign which I am so sure will work and it fails!

Ha... get used to this feeling. Welcome it and push through and get excited again the next day.

    You will do fine.

webdesignnomad, try something that looks like ****. Seriously, make a lander that looks like a 5 year old kid made it. something like:

Trust me, try it. PPV is a strange beast. Keep an open mind.

      Also, look at things like:

GEO targetting (special offer for Tampa Bay residents) etc
or a countdown timer, or a flashing call to action.

Completely agree here. Many times the most simplistic looking landing pages will have a higher CTR and convert better than the much more aesthetically pleasing ones. Also, try not to get too discouraged. $50 is really not much to test with using PPV. You are on the right track. Just remember to keep testing and tweaking everything. All it takes is a few profitable variations of your ads and you are in business. Find what's profitable and cut dead weight. Keep working at it, and you'll get there.

I am no expert in PPV, but I heard it now so many times, ugly lenders convert better than sophisticated ones. The idea with count-down time sounds good.

Try splitting testing with different landers and like PPV Affiliate said make the call to action stand out more, either using a different color or put some shadow to your current buttons. You you should track how many people click through your ads. Also, some offers do better with direct linking, so you might want to test that as well. I have a few campaigns with 500% ROI with direct linking.

500 roi... good, what about profit? I had 500% roi but profit is $5 daily.

Nice LPs, but you can make you call to actions stand out a bit more.
I mean there is almost no call to action in your second LP.

And i think they look too professional and they look like Ads.
Try adding some hand drawn arrows to your call to actions maybe?

    Or audio, video, countdown timer?

    LP are nice.

When you run your traffic on a ppv network, please try to do some research what kind of toolbars they installed. Then try to figure out whats the demogaphics .

For example, you dont want to promote credit report or auto insurance to those computer that get those adware from games. Do you?

Lol, completely agree about the ugly landers. When I found this out I couldn't believe it, but I learned to accept it. Counterintuitive I know, but works.

What targets are you bidding on? Who is your audience? Maybe I'm not from this world but I don't even know who and why will someone want this?

Another thing - this offer pays by sale or lead? If it's by sale then it will be a little harder to promote it.
