Peerfly Scalping my conversions?

I have been using Peerfly on a certain diet offer for over 120 clicks and no conversions what so ever. I got a little suspicious so I tried another offer of theirs and did a "test" myself to see if it converts, but still no conversion.

I switched MaxBounty and setup the same offer from there. So far, i've had less than 20 clicks today and 2 conversions running the same campaign ppc with same offer.

I thought I'd just share this to see if anyone else is having similar issue.

I'd be more interested in seeing the results split tested over the same time frame, while mb does seem like the better choice, often offers convert better okay certain days then others

    It's the exact same offer?

I've had some problems with shaved leads from Peerfly, but it seemed to be the company behind the offer doing it, especially email submits that pay over $1. Switched between them a few times and eventually found one that works well and I'm suddenly getting 40% conversion...

Yes, exact same offer just on different network offered. It was weird to me, considering every variable was same but all of a sudden it's converting.

I had an offer that I was running on another network that was converting for me at around 20%. It was taken down, so I noticed peerfly had the same offer. I sent 70 clicks to the offer and not one conversion.

I contacted my AM about it and he said the page was tracking properly. After that I ran it on two other networks and was able to 3500+ conversions with a 18-20% conversion rate.

Shows why it's important to split test different networks.

Well there is huge difference between conversion rates from networks. That's why i always split test between networks and go with one giving me most conversion rate Glad instead of dumping campaign you simply switched network

speedy, i'm completely new to CPA, kind of discouraging at times, but not giving up just yet...if people are making money off an offer then obviously i'm doing something wrong..so that's what led me to try different network.

I tell you the best conversions are organic traffic, nothing beats it, but you know how SEO has gotten nowadays.

Snap out of this mindset. SEO is crapola. Paid search is where the real money is at.

Don't bet discouraged. There are several areas you can always improve:

              1) Your ad.
              2) Your landing page.
              3) Your email marketing/sales funnel.
              4) Offer selection.
              5) Tracking.

Streamline and improve any of those processes and you can keep moving upward.

I agree with PerformanceMan! PAID TRAFFIC is the best overall. In my limited 7 months with CPA, I've learned there are a small percentage of offers than can be extended long term. All of the rest are short lived. You have to turn them on until they fade then turn them off and let them rest before you can get them converting again. This is hard to do with organic traffic unless you are sending them to an actual website of your own with content that is updated regularly.

I've recently had experience with Network Split Testing. I wish I had done it sooner. I had 7 or 8 campaigns running with offers from a single network and they weren't doing well, none of them. I thought this very strange. I usually put up 6 or 8 campaigns at a time. In the past I would usually end up with 1 in 4 earning some money. This time, nothing. I made some changes and ran them again. Still nothing. I joined another network that had the offers and BINGO, I got two winners out of the group immediately. I then turned the offers back on at the 1st network, still nothing. This really pissed me off, I rarely get pissed, very rarely. This just didn't sit right with me.

    Lesson Learned! Gotta keep learning...

Yeah, I'm starting to think the same thing with Peerfly. My offers just aren't consistent enough. I found another network with the offer that has been converting. I think I will try going through them.

Tob, What was the offer in particular?

It's frustrating dealing with networks like this because you really could have a good campaign, but you get screwed. So, you start changing your campaign around and using even more test money. So, you're not just losing out on the payout. It's the click bid, the time to make a new landing page, the time to make new ads, then the extra money testing these new ads/pages, THEN it's the money lost on the offer. I'll just try out the offers on Maxbounty.

Sometimes it's pixel placement on the page too. Some networks demand high placement to ensure their conversions are tracked FIRST. Others don't say anything about this with merchants. I don't think you have sent nearly enough clicks to be even making this post though. You basically got lucky with Maxbounty.

Send 10,000 clicks to each network then your argument would be a little more valid statistically.

Agreed. I was actually surprised no one pointed that out yet.
