Is there any CPA course that teaches you "campaign testing" and everything else you need to know?

Hi warriors i'm looking to get into CPA marketing but i know some of the basics of how CPA works and such but i'm still a newbie. So i'm looking for a CPA course that teaches free traffic methods and everything about CPA in general but i never see a course that offers teaching you how to test your offers/campaigns and such...Is there any CPA course that teaches you "campaign testing" plus other stuff you definitely need to know if you're getting involved in CPA marketing?

It's really just simple marketing stuff and finding ways to analyze different keywords, etc. I don't really think you'd need a course for it so much as experience in paid traffic.

I defiantly agree experience is better than any "test your offers/campaigns" Video Course or eBook.

I see you posted this same thread previously. Basically the answer that you got on that thread, "change one variable at a time" is what we mean by experience.

When you start using paid traffic you start to learn what works better and what doesn't. For example, in CPM advertising most people will run 10-40 creatives a time and see which ones have the best CTR. They only keep the performers that have high CTR's. That's what we mean by experience. If you look at PPC and your traffic software is telling you that a keyword isn't converting at all, you get rid of that keyword. There's so many variables that you can change a time...

For PPC advertising some examples are...

Change the word of your text ad
    Change the text ad title
    Change the angle all together
    Change the keyword targeting
Change the match type (Broad, Phrase, Exact, etc.)
    Change your bid
    Change your offer all together
Use a landing page or direct link

There's so many aspects of each campaign that have to be considered. And unfortunately, it results in so many places where you can go wrong. People tend to see more success with landing pages - This is where I'm at right now - But then there's a ton of things that could go wrong with creating a landing page - Something I'm experiencing ;P

Anyways, I'd recommend getting started running some campaigns on 7search and getting a feel for PPC before you run into anything too serious.

    Hope that helps,

    - Jon

I don't want to get into paid traffic because i don't have a budget for it right now, so i want to do free traffic... I thought people test and track free traffic campaigns too?

You can, but not as easily or on the same scale as paid traffic.

I just created a facebook tool that does this split testing on auto pilot. You do have to change one thing at a time and that's what it does.

I think all courses show you how to test things though don't they?

That's cool, Are you selling the tool or is it for personal use? I see you say facebook, do you use it for paid traffic? I'm more interested in learning free traffic right now until i have a nice budget to switch to paid traffic... What would you recommend if i'm interested in free traffic?

Personally I found this one of the harder things to master, it takes time and experience for this. I've seem a few training courses that have shown this to some extent - affplaybook, IMGrind, STM, ppccoach.

But keep in mind everyone has a different testing strategy and it can often vary by traffic source, niche, offer, etc.

Most courses will cover how to split test. If you are doing Free Traffic, I would suggest making sure you get some traffic coming in first, then the next step is split testing.

Split testing can be tough to master, you should get as many different approaches/insights into it as you can.
