    Hi Ali,
they both work well if you know what you are doing. Facebook you will find much cheaper than google but your ads maybe not as targeted, depends on your niche.

Actually depends on what you are advertising. You can't really say one is cheaper than the other unless you know the targets.

Also they are both completely different traffic sources.

Google is specific to either a search term (adwords) or specific website (Google content network) and FB is all about peoples interests.

In any event you need to really know your target market and then decide how you want to target the ads to reach them...

By websites they visit? search terms they use on google? or things they are interested in and willing to share on Facebook?

      Maybe try all 3

Facebook is more relaxed (and easy to use) than google. Google is very hard to use to advertise these days.

Personally, I think that Google is way better and much more targeted. The problem is... they are a real major pain in the ass to deal with and will ban you at the drop of a hat.

Facebook is much more relaxed... but the ads are not that targeted and generally, less effective.

I don't agree with ad effectiveness point. Facebook have more potential. Facebook don't have completion for a particular keyword unlike adword.

Both works well but FB is lot cheaper than Google. If you are looking for targeted traffic then Google is the best option.

It just depends on your product and audience you want to target. CPC can also be a factor. I personally like facebook.

Depends on what you're doing. Some niches work awesome on Facebook and stink on Google. Then if you're a small business person, Google cannot be beat for that!

I think google are strick, and facebook, while strict with somethings, are pretty open, and the targeting in facebook is awesome.

Both are good, but with facebook, it seems if you are a prolific tester you can do really well.

    Facebook or Google.

I would say it depends on the niche and your budget.
But if you are trying to gain loyal customer and long term following Facebook is best (with low budget)
But if you are looking for instant sale then Google is the best ( requires more capital then Facebook )

If you have good knowledge about ppc then go into this markets otherwise take some training or read online about it. Because it is very easy to lose money on ppc marketing.

Actually depends on what you are advertising.
    Bingo!

What are you trying to promote? Some niches will be cheaper and easier to promote or Facebook and some will cheaper and easier to promote on Google.

You can share your niche are I'm sure everyone will be glad to share insights. Or you can test both.

Highly depends on what are your goals, and what are you trying to sell. If you give us a hint about your niche, we could further help you.

Bottom line is Facebook is cheaper but not that targeted. From my experience I can say that google have worked great for me for eCommerce, while FB sucked big time.

With Facebook be careful that people are clicking just because they are bored. So they dont have intention to buy your product. I personally do not know anyone making profits with Facebook ads, I spent thousands on Facebook and agree with people who say that 60% of clicks are fake. So I dont' recommend Facebook at all. Waste of time.

Adwords or BING is the way if you wanna make good money. THe only problem is that they are too big and too greedy, their helpdesk is arrogant and ignorant and they usually do not know the answer and can ban you. But conversions here are insane and it can make you rich.

Facebook is cheaper (as far as I know) but you can still make good money on it. You are required to know quite a bit about your audience to really target them.

I will be starting my facebook ad campaigns soon.

Exactly, for Adword requires Huge budget. But on Facebook you can expect profit by testing in between $100-$500 ads.
