Facebook Ads account banned - Possible to reinstate?

Facebook account banned (accused for some suspicious activities that I had no idea what they are talking about). So I submitted photo ID and other documents they requested and they still decided not to reactivate my Ads account (while my other facebook stuff are fine).

I am willing to continue to email them and convince them its a misunderstanding - but i am just not sure if they will even bother.

Has anyone ever got their FB ads account reinstated? If so, how long and how much efforts did it take?

    Facebook knows every activity the user does on their network. They will not ban your account for no reason specially you are buying ads space from them.

    In this case, I don't know the answer to your question since i haven't been banned on fb.. . I guess this really depends on what you're accused of. Maybe your ads violates their TOS.

    It is highly unlikely you will get a Facebook Ads account reinstated, your best bet is to get new info and create a new one.

    I'd just ditch it man and make a new account. You'll spend more time getting it back than setting up a brand new one.

    Not sure what they mean by this, when I tried filling the appeal form.

    It's clear that I am getting the red bar notification on the top of my account which disallowed me to have any active campaigns running.




    This is what I see on Billing tab of my account. There is no option for me to add another funding source even if I wanted to?

    Yes, you can not do anything now, you account is disabled. Sorry but i think they will not return your account. And if you try to contact them, you will receive something like "The decision is final" and "Thank you for understanding" bla bla... lmao

    I was talking to a machine with auto responses, not human support.

    I know because i got banned some days ago after using them for years.

    Just move on and make a new account.

    I've been down this road myself. They can ban you for several things that could be fairly innocent. Any kind of affiliate activity puts you in the cross hairs for sure and from this point you don't want to make to terms and conditions violations or its bye bye like you are experiencing.

    In terms of reinstatement just know that they watch this stuff super carefully so I can at least tell you at minimum what you would need. New ip address for sure, new computer or virtual machine. New credit card and new address. Still no guarantees with this as I don't know all the ins and outs, but I know they have these covered. So I would probably go for the max paranoia protection and assume if you have id on something they can track that too. Who knows, but they find you out very quickly. So I would probably not have my cell phone turned on or with me and probably make sure they can't take any pics from your built in camera on your computer too. Believe me I have tried most of the things with the exception of the cell phone and covering the camera but they have found me every time, so they is why I am upping the qualifications here as you really do have to be that clean with everything on a fresh account after you have been banned. As for friends, I probably would have totally new ones of those while you are at it and maybe purchase a seasoned account.

    Take this all at face value but I have had many accounts banned by good old fb even though I just wanted to buy more ads and play by the rules. However once banned, you have to take drastic measures from what I have seen. Good luck.

    IMO you will have a better chance at opening a new account opposed to having this one reinstated.

    Its very unlikely you will ever get your ads accout re-instated.
    Your best bet would be to either - create a new account or buy one from a reliable seller.

    FB must have recently been cleaning out accounts for one reason or another because I know someone else this has happened to in the past 2 weeks.

    Don't know the details, but it looks like FB is starting to crack down on a few things. This might only be the first of many FB ad bans.

    I just got my account banned as well. Trying to get it reinstated through the appeal process. First attempt got me one of those standard answers (which meant nothing at all as to reasons why it was banned in the first place).

    Will keep trying based on some good suggestions. Thanks for the post.

      Well,

      I think they did that for 2 main possibilities:

      1) You had many ads disapproved, being disapproved it means that you violated their Advertisment Guidelines ToS. When that happens, if its the first time you can explain that you have read the ToS multiple times and never thought you were violating it, say you are really sorry and that will not happen again...

      Normally this bring your account reinstated.
      But if you violated it with really hard stuff, like porn, very deceptive content then the odds of reinstated are low.

      Another thing is before doing CPA campaigns if you have a fanpage buy advertisement to get likes, that way you are saying that you are spending to have exposure with facebook and doing so they will trust you more then if you did not have any trust...

      The second option (it happened to me) if you are logging in from ips of different countries will bring you a red flag almost immediately and the account will be lockdown. So the Solution is explaining why you have used ips from different countries, etc,etc

      This worked with so i think it also can work with you.
