#1 but just not seeing it (Adowrds)

So I have a very specific one word keyword that is the ONLY word used to look up my product. It gets 18,000 searches a month and my google adwords campaign is showing my ads for the past day as position 1 with 500 impressions so far today.

There is no competition. I am certain of this. When I search for my keyword, my add displays at the bottom of page two and there are no other ads at all shown besides mine, yet my campaign says 100% position #1. Am I interpreting this wrong? When I use the Ad Preview tool it shows my ad on the right at the top of page one but not in real life.

Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!

Try raising the bid by a fraction (i.e. 10 cents) it might have a minimum trigger on it before it can be properly shown. Or give it a few more hours to get fully activated ... sometimes it takes a while for certain ads until it goes through their system and is being shown correctly.

Hmmm that's odd, try contacting your adwords manager, they give good advice. Google has a few different 'first pages' but not sure that's what is in effect here.

Thanks for the responses. I did up my ante and found the ad at the top of page one. It's weird though that ALL of my impression have been "Position 1".
