Poor revenue optimisation with adsense

I'm a beginner into internet marketing, it's my first time attempting to make money with one of my website. I've been doing many websites, though. The actual project I got is about news and politics. Basically, I got a news timeline on my wordpress that's feeded by various rss. Once an item reach my timeline, it gets posted to my twitter account along with custom shortened url. My custom shortened url system allows me to insert header, therefor I can display ads whenever peoples clock my links on twitter in order to read news.

For now I make 0.01$ or 0.02$ a day on adsense. Everything on my Adsense scorecard is going down. Got poor Revenue optimisation, site health and multiscreen. I don't understand why. I think my traffic shoud be worth more than 0.01$ a day since I earned more with adf.ly. At some point I earned fair amount of money. But I just don't understand how it is calculated. How come do I get 2.42$ for 10 clicks off 489 views while 11 clicks off 196 views would bring me 0.01$?
