How do I find Affiliates?

Hey guys I am new to Affiliate Marketing - working on behalf of the Merchant to find Affiliates who can promote our product.

Iv'e done my research and it seems most people tend to sign up to Affiliate Networks however I have been given the directions to contact Affiliates directly.

This is great - however I am having trouble find Affiliates...I've googled my way to kingdom come to find any youtube, blog and Facebook page that will reach the audience I require but I'm not getting enough names - I was aiming for 2000 to contact and have only compiled a list of 750 from my search.

Where can I find Affiliates without joining (and paying) a Network?
Or am I just pushing s**t up hill?

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

You could place an Ad on this network, Warrior+, JVZoo, Clickbank etc. or depending on your niche any other suitable network.

    Hi there!

Do you know the reason why the merchant you're representing wants to work with affiliates sans a network?

A network can provide many benefits that you won't find when working directly with an affiliate. This includes a wider affiliate base, higher traffic quality, constant communication with the affiliate(s) on our behalf through our Affiliate Managers, and dedicated compliance who ensure that those who are running your campaigns are following your terms and conditions.

Do you mind me asking what the product/service is you're looking to advertise?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

You can go for ad networks if you are targeting a good number of affiliates. An ad network can easily fulfill your requirements. For instance, I can suggest you to go for 'Admitad'. There you will get personal account manager, on time payment, real-time tracking, high rate of conversions and a constant touch with affiliates.

    Thanks!

Hi guys apologies for the late reply...

The product is called 48hourcuts. We edit and cut together footage for small to medium businesses including their branding within 48 hours of them submitting their footage and we provide guidance on the kind of material they want to capture. All for a set fee of $149.

To begin with we just want to get around 100 affiliates on board because we can't actually cope with a huge influx of customers to begin with. So I want to get 100 genuine affiliates to start and then we will look at joining a Network later.

    Thank you for your replies

Are you looking for affiliates to promote your product or are you looking for people to purchase your 48hourcuts services? I think your best bet is to get into some of the Shopify Facebook groups and see if you can promote there. I know a lot of ecommerce guys use videos in their FB ads so your service could be something they are interested in.

I might be wrong, but our friend seems to be looking for people to buy their work or to work with them in a form of outsourcing. If you can't cope with the influx of customers you don't need affiliates, affiliates are there to help you get more customers.

Maybe if you can explain what you need the affiliates to do for you.
