Is there a way to do your newsletter without Aweber?

Hello, I'm really sorry to have to ask this, so I apologise in advance. (I'm a bit of a newbee)

But I've been having a lot of trouble, trying to find a good free autoresponder service. Or at least one that allows you to create actually "real campaigns" like in aweber. I'm trying to find one that would at least allow you to set up a campaign up to say 1000 subscribers at no cost?

Isn't there anything out there like that?

Or is there some way to do it without having to pay a monthly subscription to one of the brand name autoresponder services?

Please help. thanks.

1000 emails are pretty big for free email autoresponders.

Have you tried Mailchimp. They have both paid and free services. Free services will help you send emails upto a limit of 2000 subscribers and 13k emails per month.

I did but I don't know if they changed there thing or what, but I didn't see anywhere anymore where you're able to set up an actual campaign. I could be wrong but it appears they got rid off that main feature. Now it seems like the way it works is you have to manually go in and do a one off send to everyone. Then then have some kind of a date scheduler thing that I couldn't figure out. But again, it's will send 1 email to "everyone". I guess that's better than nothing. I guess I could try it. Maybe by that time I'll be able to hopefully afford a real service instead. Maybe I should just leave the newsletter alone for now. Then later when I'm making more money (hopefully) then just focus again on it.

well after over a month of searching I found something. It's called SendPulse. I tested it, and I'm using it on my site and it does send. The mail appears to get through okay too. For the drip type sequence campaign you click on "automation", not be confused with the one off sending (manual) which is some link at the top. And the main thing is it's free for the basic and it does basically what aweber does. I just can't believe though how few good competitor there are to aweber. It's nuts.

It is a very common problem between email marketers. At some point they get tired of their ESP like aweber who have strict rules.

Best solution is to have your self hosted autoresponder and channel it through some SMTP relay service like mandrill , mailgun etc

For self hosted autoresponders, you have options like interspire, mailwizz and sendy

Choose any company that would install one of these softwares on your server and hook it with smtp relay

works really great for lot of our customers

Plus you save TONS of cash in monthly sending costs and it's the only way to NOT have your account shut down at ANY time the ESP chooses to for "some reason" ...

maiwizz is actually top of the line for many reasons, like parallel sending from multiple SMTP services at the same time. and much more...

I'm back to square one. Sendpulse and mailerlite both don't allow anything to do with network marketing. What a pain.

There are actually hundreds of competitors. What are you looking for and how much do you want to spend. Have you looked at Sendy or EasySendy (different companies)

Easy: use GoodNews plugin for WordPress.

It is completely free and gives you unlimited newsletters, unlimited, lists, unlimited users, and unlimited autoresponders.

...and unlike Aweber, you're 100% in control.

Your first option could be Mailrelay. With them you can send up to 75k emails for 15k subscribers for free.

    https://mailrelay.com/en

I used them before, they have a great service, the only problem is that you need to configure some things in your server, like spf and dkim.

Once you do that you are good to go. And believe it or not, now they have better features than Aweber.

    https://mailrelay.com/en/features

Your second option, is to set a mass mailing server. You can find a lot of info about it on Google, this will give you some advantages, like never paying again for subscribers, and some other things you will find out

You can start your research here:

I use the service at http://www.autoresponderfreetrial.com . I find them to be more user-friendly and flexible than Aweber, get-response or the others I tried.

The system will even tell you which of your recipients are opening the email. Pretty nice.

    I hope that helps...

    Hi Nina,

It good to look for free stuff, but it does not help much.

MailChimp I think is one of the good Autoresponders out there that allowed 1000 Emails free with some limit on total emails you send per month.

But MailChimp is very strict about affiliate marketing. It will immediately BAN you if you promote a Affiliate Link in your emails. This makes it very difficult.

I paid for Aweber Minimum Plan that gets upgraded as your subscriber base increase. The minimum plan was $19.95 when I started few months back. But the biggest advantage is that it gives you the all the features even with the minimum plan.

As you are building a Home Based Business, this will be your expense. So whatever profits you make before TAX you can remove this expense before paying the taxes.

The easiest formula for a Business is

Profit Before Tax = Total Sales - Total Expense

Then you pay the Tax on your profit and whatever is left is all your money.

But if you try to build a business with Zero investment. It is very difficult.

In fact it will become very easy if you start planning your expense and sales. These tools are there to help you make money online. Without these tools it would be too difficult to build your list and sell them whatever you have been planning to sell.

Hope this helps. I apologise that I have been little away from the forums so am replying very very late.

I have used Mail chimp in the past and I found it to be ok. You get like 2500 subscribers for free and after that you can always go for their monthly pricing. Do give them a try and let us know your experience.
