How To Get Into Every CPA Network With Or Without A Website

Alot of people struggle to get accepted into CPA networks. Here's my simple essential tips that will guarantee your acceptance into any CPA network.

  • Have a Business website setup - Make it look professional. Wordpress is ideal and a good looking theme will be perfect.
  • Your internet marketing experience is 1.5 years or more - They want semi-new affiliates. By telling them this they will be alot more likely to accept you, mainly because they don't want newbies that might give the network a amateur reputation.
  • What "Verticals" or Offers do you promote? - Anything that converts, then tell them some you have promoted before. This doesn't have to be complicated just be ready to mention a few e.g Health, Ringtones etc
  • Have a REAL email address at your business domain NOT a gmail/hotmail account - The majority of unprofessional scam applicants use free email services. By using a business email such as contact@yourdomain.com they percieve you as being legitimate and a serious applicant that is professional about their work.
  • Answer your phone with Hi this is "Your name" from "Your business" - This is another easy tip but it is essential. Don't answer your phone with "Whats up man, Hows it going"
  • Have a professional voicemail - Hi this is "Your name from your company" I am either not at my desk OR am on the phone. Leave your name number and a brief message and I will get back to you as soon as possible. If you have some Notorious B.I.G blasting out it will give off the wrong impression...you can be gangster in your after they've called
  • This one is crucial. Call all networks back the day after! - This shows you are a proactive affiliate, you are serious and eager to get started and they love this.

Here are some common questions you can have prepared for before chat to them:

Q: How many uniques a month do you get?
A:50000-100000
Q: How do you get traffic?
A:I build blogs and webpages and I get traffic through PPC on google.
Q: How long have you been doing Internet Marketing?
A:1 year and a half
Q: What has worked for you in the past?
A:Only PPC
Q: What vertical/category/kind of offer you want to promote, or have promoted in the past?
A:Anything that converts, I've done gaming, freebies, health, ringtones, email submit, etc..
Q: Dp you offer incentives?
A:NO
Q: How much do you spend on advertising?
A:100$ per day
Q: Do you work with other network, which ones?
A:YES, name any that you have been accepted at or name any random ones.
Q: How did you hear about us?
A:My friend told me, but he doesn't work with you.

If you follow all the above steps you will get accepted into every CPA network without any hassle...but what if you don't have a website?

Well I know that many of you might not have hosting/domains etc so...

Heres how you can easily get accepted as well

  • Apply to a network
  • When your filling out your application keep an eye out for the comment section (each network has one) & write something like this..."I'm a email marketer with close to 9,000 geo-targeted, double opt-in email's. I send out a weekly/daily newsletter to my members and include serveral offers with it".
  • If the applcation asks you to enter a website just type http://email.com. This tells the person that will be reviewing the application that you are a email marketer.
  • Submit your application (using a business email) and follow the steps that I have already discussed (professional voicemail, answering your phone correctly etc)
  • So you get the call - this is how you should answer the questions you get asked...they will be related to email marketing in this case ofcourse.

So you call them FIRST:

YOU: Hi, I'm Bruce Lee. I'm a email marketer with 9 months of experience. I've got close to 9,000 geo-targeted, double opt-in email's.

AM: May I ask how you got those email addresses?

YOU: I run several membership websites that offer free ebooks and daily newsletters for my members. The members have double opted for my emails and I include offers with my newsletters. (Note: Membership sites can be about anything...debt, freebies, health, whatever so your not actually telling them what you will be promoting)

AM: That's great. Can I see one of your websites?

YOU: Sorry, I'd show you, but I've had too many of my sites stolen in the past. (Its not uncommon for networks to check out your traffic sources and copycat(steal) your promotion strategies so don't tell them!)

AM: That's OK, I understand. Can I ask you how you go about sending your emails, what service do you use? And do you apply a suppression list?

YOU: I use Aweber to send my emails, each email includes a opt-out on the bottom of every email I send. Yes, I apply the suppression list for every network.

AM: OK, how many people opt-out of your email each month?

YOU: I'd say about 2%.

AM: This sounds great, what type of offers do you promote?

At this point you are basically accepted and the affiliate manager would just like to know what offers you are interested so they can help you find the best ones for you to promote. Some examples you could say: Health, Entertainment, Ringtones etc

If you are concerned about the fact that you have been accepted but they are under the impression that you are an email marketer then don't worry. You are free to promote their offers in any way you like as long as you don't do anything BlueFart ofcourse.

A quick note on hiding your traffic sources:

CPA networks can easily find out where your traffic is coming from and can rob you of all your hard work unless you hide it. Hiding your traffic sources is nothing BlueFart but simply stops them from having any opportunity of copying or stealing your promotional strategies.

Heres's an example: If the AM could easily see that all your traffic was coming from a certain landing page that you were using with adwords then they could try and determine what keywords you are bidding on. They would basically have all your hard work of finding profitable converting keywords right infront of them for the taking!

Hiding your traffic is beyond the scope of this thread so I will write up a quick thread later on for you guys.

For now you have some great ways that will get you into any CPA network weather you have a website/blog or not!

* You should definitely change the information I have used in these examples to make your application sound more unique to you, for example, you don't need to say 9,000 emails (any figure will do grand, upwards of 7,000 is perfect)

So get going, start applying and I hope you learnt some good tips in this guide!

Your welcome but why do you think these tips are too old now?

They work very well and will get you into any CPA network out there. The fact is that CPA networks are essentially looking for professional affiliates, these steps tick every box a affiliate manager could want in a affiliate and therefore they love the idea of accepting and working with you in the future.

They aren't completely out of the box ideas sure but they are solid guidelines that work with every CPA network around.

  • The nature of business is to Lie to get accepted?

It's not like they can't check you out.

Well I gave 2 options. One is for those that have a website and one for those that haven't. I'd like to hear any tips you have for newbies getting into CPA networks without a few white lies?

The simple truth is that CPA networks don't want completely unexperienced affiliates in their networks. Try telling any of the major networks that you have no CPA experience, no website and no email list and prepare for them to literally hang up the phone!

Its the nature of the beast I'm afraid but when your chatting with a AM you can either talk the talk and get accepted or don't and not get accepted.

So anyways how do you think CPA networks can check you out?...most CPA marketers will tell you that if you don't hide your traffic alot of CPA networks will steal your hard work. Its quite common knowledge that if you tell CPA networks that you will not share your traffic sources due to some past experiences with other networks that they will usually completely understand due to the rep alot of CPA networks have for robbing affiliates stuff.

They can easily know if your traffic is any good from your conversion rate and that is how they judge your performance. If you send good traffic to offers that convert well then everyone is happy so theres no reason why a CPA network would need to know where your traffic comes from.

COmplete newbies all the time are getting accepted to the best networks out there. The tough part about exaggerating is that its easy for them to call you out by askin gyou follow up questions such as technical questions that you would def know if you had over a years experience. Then they have your personal information and can block you from applying in the future.

I would say jsut learn the basics, do your research, and then be honest

thats the route I took with great success.

Anyway continue my learning specially reading whenever find your post.

Calling networks is key, but being honest about what you do, and not putting up shady website addresses help alot too. Even if your starting off just tell them you are. It helps.

      Great CPA guide Mr Cash.

However, before reading your guide I had the chance to apply to one of the CPA networks out there. While I was still telling the AM about my website, he bluntly asked me if I could provide him with a screenshot of one of my PPC campaigns. Obviously, I refused to do so as that was personal. The result was I didn't get accepted.

The moral of the story is that try to be as honest as possible 'cause CPA networks are getting wiser each day. For instance, as far as traffic to your website is concerned, if you declare between 50,000 and 100,000 (and you are getting only 5,000 or so), the CPA network can easily find out what the real traffic is and stop you from getting in.

Hope, I was clear enough and hope it helped!

Lying on your CPA application will only get you denied either upfront or later on. If there are any quality issues with your traffic AND you lied about how you were promoting the offers (or anything else, for that matter), you are going to be in a very bad situation with the company you are working with. It's very easy for someone who is reviewing applications to tell if the pending affiliate is truthful or not.

The #1 tip to get approved with any CPA network out there (take notes, kiddies) is to call them up on the phone and speak the truth.

    Hi
Some of the CPA net work ask for credential whether you have already been working with some network. They also ask for AM's to endorse then only they would accept you.

A:My friend told me, but he doesn't work with you."

IMO, that's auto-rejection. Well...that's how we do it. Why would a friend recommend a network that he has never worked for and knows nothing about them? Get a lot of these kinds of applications, just a heads up telling me to deny when I see these kinds of apps.
