Bidvertiser PPC - such a tease

i opened an acount with bidvertiser yesterday and had 2 sales which gave me a exellent ROI, i thought this could be a very profitable campaign then today the traffic is junk.

if you look at the screenshot above you can see that yesterday im getting 1 orderform impression per 8 hops

today only 1 for every 130 hops, i call fake traffic today, what says warriors?

      You got lucky.

As Mahmoud said, Bidvertiser traffic is, for a lack of better words, crap. It's extremely inconsistent, untargeted and very rarely converts.

It makes you wonder though how companies like this stay in business? Do they just target the newbies and take their money?

Its just difficult to understand how 1 day im getting a orderform impression every 8 hops which i think is awsome traffic, then junk the next day.

i dont know why the traffic would change like that

Simple ..... you just got lucky. I remember I used to promote an expensive offer, with per sale earning of $150. With just 5 clicks, I got one sale. I thought I found gold and since then have spend more than $250 and never got another sale.

    It's easily understood.

On the first day you were the top bidder getting all the prime traffic.

Second day, someone noticed you were taking their good traffic and outbid you. You got left with scraps.

If you had any kind of tracking going on you should probably be able to see what keywords were converting, etc.

Also, if you're promoting any kind of cold traffic straight to an offer you're going to get lumpy traffic.

Why not send them to a squeeze page, give them something of value for an optin and then try and convert them to a buyer via email over time?

      seankaye is right.

Also there's a big lesson to be learned here and it's a big mistake too many make.

You ran this for 2 days and got a little over 200 clicks total.

That data in no way gives you enough information to state that "bidvertiser sucks". You don't have nearly enough data to make that claim. You've got the very beginning of a campaign going. BUT you're at the point where most quit, claim it doesn't work, go to a forum, complain about how bad it was because you spent $5.00 testing it and then move onto the next thing.

PPC marketers seem to be the most impatient people in the world. If they don't get fantastic results yesterday, then everything is a bust to them. There's no in between. BUT there should be.

Instead of taking a half ass stab at it, (which you did), give it 110%. Give it a real budget and a real test. THEN if it doesn't work come and complain about it. I don't mean to pick on the OP, but I see this DAILY with ppc marketers. No patience and they do tiny tests then determine a traffic source is crap.

It's not right and it all starts with the mindset.

        Well said !

Remember and track as much as possible, me personally I would want to know:

        1) What times got the most clicks
        2) What times got the most sales
        3) What location / state got the most sales/clicks
        4) What operating system / platform got the most clicks
        5) What keywords / banners worked best

Tracking is the most important part, without it you will most likely lose money. It's shocking the amount of people who jump into paid traffic with no tracking and a tiny budget then when they do not make a sale they blame the traffic source instead of looking at there own landing page or set up

As for the lack of data reaching your google analytics account it will most likely be down to people with adblock software installed on their browser (noscript etc) these visits block googles java script and will never appear in GA

        Good luck

Ho many clicks or spend do you consider to sufficient to "give it a real test"

How can you even judge something from 200 hops? Relax and give it more time because 200 hops says nothing, absolutely nothing.

Are you tracking your traffic at all or just sending them straight to the offer? You can't really say anything definitive unless you know what's going on with the traffic you are sending.

I would say- keep away from Bidvertiser. When this ppc company itself doesn't care about the quality of traffic, what would an advertiser expect?

I tried bidvertiser and what a surprise I got, 70 clicks showing on their status and nothing on my google analytics, I asked them about the issue and they told me it's because you didn't put a tracking url. This is really funny, tracking url is to track your campaign, ad, keywords... but it's not to show traffic. I should see in analytics 70 clicks from bidvertiser, that's it even if I don't have a tracking url. Anyway I setup my tracking url and I received an additional 200 clicks but nothing in analytics. This company is really disgusting, you want throw your money in garbage, then go and do it. From my experience, Adwords and Adcenter, anything else is a junk. that's it

I am also not happy with Bidvertiser. I set up geotargeting for Canada, UK and Australia and got few leads from India. Though CTR % was great on my text ads, I didn't make any sales with that crap traffic.
