Facebook Ads

Hi,

I am trying Facebook ads to promote my fan page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Your-Upload-Site/483299235143?ref=hl I am trying to use this to have people like my fan page and I can market CPA offers to these people.

In the last two days I have been paying for impressions, not clicks. So far I have 982 impressions but no clicks. Is this normal? (Clicks do not count as likes, just means someone clicked on my ad). Fortunately, I have only paid $0.04 for these impressions. It just seems weird to have 0 out of 982 clicks.

    I heard that one day advertising in Facebook is from 10$. I it true? I think that Facebook ads are not good. There are to many ads in Facebook. I think about Facebook ads, too. Good, you write about Facebook ads.

      You can spend any amount on Facebook ads everyday. Anything from a penny to thousands a day.

      Now I am up to 2,588 Impressions and no clicks. This is pathetic. I have my ad set up to turn off in 30 hours. I don't expect any results

    You should have some clicks by now. You must have something wrong or it's just not converting.

      Now upto 6,827 impressions and 1 click for a CTR of 0.005% LOL This is pathetic.

      The main problem is that your ads are showing to everyone and thats why you have impression but no clicks. In order to have it you need to target people and to do that you will need some software like social lead fox what allowed you to grab id's from people who are already interested in topics and download it on the list. That list you just upload where it ask you during creating ads process and you will see results...

        with a picture of a ipad. Do you think Facebook just randomly sends this ad to anyone? I told them to only send this to ipad people. But being these ads just show up without a keyword, I guess Facebook randomly posts these ads?

    What is the profile of the person you are trying to attract. The "win an ipad" stuff sounds less than legitimate to most people.

    If I wanted someone to like my fanpage on home defense, I might target the ad tightly with something like "Need 9 mm Ammo?" If you shoot you would know that this is a hot topic and would get clicks.

      I don't own a gun, but yes I know guns are really popular right now.

      I don't know why only 2 people clicked in 10,000 impressions. Some people might not think it is legitimate, but I would expect people to just click on a ad and not read the description, because they see a ipad.

        I just used that as an illustration. I do not have home defense page. Did you entirely miss the point?

        I really don't know how else to say it. I would not trust someone who offered me a free ipad. Who in their right mind would believe it was true. Is that your target audience?

Free iPad, and to think I fell for it. I should know better. Nobody would post an ad like that on FaceBook expecting a response.

            I might change my ad to something that says enter for a chance to win. But the ad is 100% legit.
