Hostgator and clean ips

I use hostgator shared hosting and I just found out that there are some websites that are on the same ip as my websites and they are very undesirable.

I was just wondering do ant of you guys know if this affect your ranking at all.

Upgrade to a higher package and get your on IP's I think I have like 5 IP with my package
