How do we rank our video [Upload to youtube] in google using SEO?

Hi there,

As i am looking into Video Marketing. Would like to check whether does getting videos rank in top page the same way as ranking website in term of using SEO?
[Getting Backlinks, Social Bookmarking, Article submission, etc]

    I'm pretty new to video marketing myself, but I think pretty much the same things apply. Just make sure the keyword you are targeting is present in the title, description and tags. Other than that, backlinking should give you a decent shot of ranking high, after all you're leveraging a PR9(I think) site with Youtube

    Thanks, yes. i was thinking whether is it the same? Did you have the result after trying out the normal SEO ranking?

    Yes, i believe it's PR9 we can really do tons of backlink within a certain period.

    I have several videos Google's first page, and all I did was apply good ol' "normal" SEO stuff to the video page - works pretty well. Make sure the keyword you're trying to rank for is in the title of the video - probably goes without saying, but it's critical.

    It's seem that they will create tons of backlinks for video as well.

    Vid marketing is the easiest way to rank high in the searches. Some guidelines I go by for my SEO is:

    1.) Find niche longtail keywords, with competition of 300,000 or less
    2.) Put your keyword in the title close to the beginning
    3.) Put your keyword at the first part of your description and again once for every 100 words.
    4.) Use your key in your tags, along with some good relevant LSI keys
    5.) Say or annotate your keyword in our video, cause I believe Google can rank your vids based on what exactly happens in the vid itself

    But as good as all that is, you still need comments, views, and ratings to really drive your vid high in the SERPS. Also do some back linking, with bookmarks and pings. But that's basically it for the basic SEO techniques with Vid Marketing. Hope this helps.

    Thanks for your guide on this! However what do you mean comments, views and ratings? you mean getting high ranking in Google also need the help from Youtube by driving up the comments, views and ratings?

    I always thought that these 3 method only work if you like to rank well in youtube? [With the chosen tags]

    One more question, does TG good for video marketing? [In term of ranking your videos in google]

    is there any software that can boost the video ranking other than Traffic Geyser? Not talking about submitting to tons of video sites but pushing 1 video to the top of google

    Anyone here know is there any tools around than just Traffic Geyser?
