ScrapeBox Gurus - how do YOU find blogs to comment on?

Could anyone share their techniques and strategies/footprints how to search for good blogs to comment on?

I am trying so many methods but none of the methods are perfect, eg. harvesting all kinds of footprints, or scanning blogengine blogs and so forth.

Usually, i always end up with very little PR5+ blogs.

I wonder what ways you guys use to get some good lists of DoFollow blogs to comment on?

And I don't scrape google or bing at the same time. I create different harvest files for them seperately.

It's all about platforms. Find new platforms or even new blog commenting software that are widely used and that provide dofollow links then simply scrape using whatever footprint you can find with as many keywords and different tld's as possible.

Use BlogEngine platform. You may include your keywords. In this blog types, we can find many auto approve comments than wordpress.

Harvest from all three search engines ---> Remove Dup URLs

Blog Analyzer (Load list from Scrapebox Harvester) ---> Filter (Remove all "bad" blogs) ---> Save List (Save To Scrapebox Harvester List)

Check PageRank ---> Get URL PageRank ---> Sort by PR

DOFOLLOW ALERT! That was on accident too!

The best/most valuable comments you're going to get are the manually submitted ones... Hell Scrapebox might of even successfully plugged these on Fast Poster! I didn't try though.

Great advice on the footprints. Thanks. I hear that Google is indexing Facebook comments now on sites. I'm currently looking for some footprints to find these forms. I'll follow up if I find anything useful.

I'm going to go in another direction and suggest that you "follow" other people who have commented on a high quality DoFollow blog.

After you've gone through the initial pain and suffering of finding a handful of decent DoFollow blogs, extract the external links from every single post within that blog. Run them through the backlink checker and download the results. You can then run these through the blog analyzer, dofollow / nofollow add-on if they're Wordpress blogs, etc.

If they've commented on one DoFollow blog, then chances are they've commented on others. Sometimes you can get pretty lucky and find posts (not domains) that are PR5 or higher. Though you have to first make sure that the blog hasn't been abandoned before you comment.

When I come across high PR posts I'll check the homepage and see if they've got any posts within the last 30 days or so. If they do, I'll leave a comment on a recent one. If it's approved I'll save the blog and comment on a post with PR a few days later. This will GREATLY improve your comment approval rate since the blog owner has already approved a comment from you.

And of course, make sure your comments are legitimate and on-topic. There's absolutely nothing wrong with commenting just to get backlinks as long as you do it respectfully & actually contribute to the post.

The reverse engineering trick has changed since YSE shut down. So the Scrapebox backlink checker is dead at the moment. However, you can still find indexed backlinks by adding "link:" in front of the extracted URL's and using the search harvester. If you're working on a large scale you'll still find PLENTY of other blogs.

I was a little worried at first, but YSE shutting down hasn't hurt as much as I thought it would.

Search for comments on blogs that you know are auto-approved.

What I like to do is buy a service that offers high PR blog comment backlinks, I will then wait on the report and go the all of the url's that my link was placed on to find something common throughout the website that I can use to scrape the same url's ++ many more like it.

I purchased a high PR .edu blog comment package and I was able to find double the urls that I was given for my report

The problem with those footprints is that they've been shared EVERYWHERE and are massively overused. The way around this, if you've got Scrapebox, is to import add at least a few thousand keywords to the footprint.

One more quick tip, and it's not necessarily a new one. But I've been having some good success recently by finding a blog post that is clearly auto approve, using the comment grabber inside of Scrapebox, and running all of the comments through the search harvester.

A lot of people are lazy and don't spin their comments. So they've got plenty of duplicates floating around.
