How To Make Google Analytics Update Hourly

I don't know if this is well known or not but I didn't know about it so thought others might not.

You can actually update your stats in Google Analytics hourly instead of waiting every night at 2am .. so guess who's going to be spending more time in analytics? haha. I love checking my sites stats.

Anyway, here's how to do it.

First, log into your analytics dashboard, then click on view report for whatever website you want to see updated stats for.

On the next page, you will see in the upper right hand corner a box with some dates ranging from a month difference. Click the drop down arrow then fill in the date to the current date you want to see the stats for.

As you can see, Google sets it to default the day before, but you can actually manually make it show you today's stats which are updated hourly.

I made a video on this as well if you'd rather watch.

Tell me what you think ..
