I was looking for suggestions on a free wp theme that I could use to post written articles for my niche site. This would probably be a one page site that I would look to incorporate adsense. Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance!
#adsense or seo #niche #site #theme

There are many themes out there, but CTR Theme and "clickbump" themes appear to be popular. You can also make your own theme.

Thanks for the mention IE. For any Warriors who purchase my theme between now and June 30th, I'm offering, as a bonus, your choice of one of my premium add on templates as seen here > Premium Templates for Review & Authority Sites*|*clickbump.com

Once you order via my salespage and check out with Paypal, just send me a PM at the clickbump owner's user forum and I'll hook up your new template for instant download.

Once you have ClickBump Engine, you can purchase any of these templates for as little as $10 each. They install with one click into the Engine and are immediately accessible to change the entire site design and layout, without touching the underlying xhtml/css core code.

I'm using "Object Oriented CSS" with Web Standards based xhtml design to achieve this level of flexibility. The templates are optimized for desktop, iPad, and even cell phones and handhelds right out of the box and I can give you my personal guarantee that its the fastest loading theme available anywhere.

I am a heat map guy. Truth be told, unless you are going for aggressive blending like bluesense, or a theme that is built to randomize placements, your placements are going to be the same regardless of the theme so really, it's all about what you like building your sites in best.

I just use the regular free themes with wordpress and then insert my adsense in the header file and then in the posts using advertisement management plugin. Some of my sites regularly get 25% CTR

The most important factor for CTR is the niche, using the EXACT same template and location one niche has a 21% CTR over the last month, the other has 0.51% CTR

The most important factor for CTR is the niche...
Niche is definitely important, but in my experience, the most important factor for CTR is getting *ranked* high enough in the SERPS for any of this to matter.

I can have a 100% CTR but if I'm only getting a couple of visits a day, I'm losing the battle.

The theme and the on-page optimization it helps enforce, particularly with G's latest round of algo updates, are more important than ever for a site's ability to rank well, particularly in the beginning life cycle stages.

    Hi,

Well, there are a lot of wp themes out there you could find. But the best ones are paid like Woothemes and Elegantthemes which has the most professional and seo-friendly themes you could have. But if you want to have a truly SEO friendly site, you could use a Thesis theme from DIYThemes, this is also paid. Another alternative for you is to visit my site which offers both FREE themes from Woothemes and Elegantthemes @ janintia[dot]com.
