When you do bonehead searches, you get bonehead results.

Google can't fix stupid.

However, google just had record profits once again.

Sure. They just plain don't know what they are doing.

Facebook, on the other hand, on the eve of their stock
offering, saw profits drop.

Google gets all the news today as well, as they just
open up "Drive."

If you don't know what the buzz is about drive, well,
just shows how much some people actually pay attention
to what's really going on in the online world.

Google just keeps going on and on and on...

Get on board, smarten up, or be left behind.

Your choice.

Google has changed it's plans now. They are focussing more on targetting internet marketers who build backlinks to get their sites up THAN trying to improve the quality of their searches. This got proved with the latest update. They forgot that many sites that have higher quality content are actually the ones that do SEO stuff. So taking them ALL down instead of taking just spammy sites with low quality content, is going to hurt a reader's experience who comes and tries to search for something on google.

People need to get that idea in their heads. These changes aren't about quality. They're about Google getting paid more. As 'PaulGL,' the unknown IM attacker pointed out, Google keeps on earning higher profits.

They don't care about YOU.

Why should they?

Why should they?

It is all good as long as the quality of searches are upheld. The moment the readers will stop finding useful content that they're looking for when they search, they'll start trying more search engines and if they find stuff there, like Bing. They will slowly realise Bing is better and switch slowly. Google is a leader as long as it's quality is upheld : )

Another interesting element with the 'make' site - there strongest links are using blogspot - so they built a link farm on Googles servers right under the nose of the giant.

With the amount of times I've seen that blank blogspot blog being linked to as an example of Google messing up, I won't be surprised if it stays in that position merely because it has gained so many (context relevant) backlinks through forums like this!

I checked that blog backlinks that is currently ranked #1 for "make money online" site has a lot high quality backlinks point to it I think that's the reason is ranked #1 that's tell me is still all about the backlinks regardless of content Google just won't admit that ..we see if ranking stick...
