SOOO, one of my sites got hamered by Penguin. It has tons of high quality, original content, and is very focused. Admittedly, I ahd not been adding much to it over the latest year, but much of the content is as relvant today as it was 50 years ago, so it's not like the age matters all that much.

I had been sitting in the top 3 for muhc of my choosen keywords for about 2 years, and many of the pages are hitting fairly well in social media also, with FB likes, Tweets, and other attention.

Here Is the Interesting Part:

Before the update, I had a bounce rate in the mid 60's with a 2 minute average.
Post update, my bounce rate is now 87%, with a 40 second average.

Doesn't that mean Google hit the wrong pages?

Have a customer with a similar issue. It seems both of you have non-laser traffic coming.

I thought google was supposed to be giving the searcher what they wanted. In this case however, it seems that they have nuked the most relevant traffic, while allowing the lesser targeted visitors to come on in.
