The Definitive Guide To Google Adwords.
Before you go broke, (and trust me on this) memorize that damn book.
There may be a better course, but Perry is the authority on that matter.

In my opinion, the best way to learn PPC is from the Google Adwords official site. You can set the campaign and learn from the help. I have learned the same way

Correct information on PPC may be difficult to find in an open forum due to the fact that everyone has his or her right way to do it. The War Room has good information on internet marketing related topics but you may find few posts pertaining to PPC.

Some ebooks and video courses are fine but you come away feeling that something was missed out. It is a common problem that many face.

One option is to join a specialized forum which deals with PPC so that you can be in close proximity with experts in the field as well get the latest updates and information about what works and what does not.

Set up your Adword Account and add a campaign to learn PPC. You can learn keyword selection and bidding process or you can use video tutorial to learn the process of ppc. Indeed it is a helpful process you can try it.

Why anyone would tell you to learn PPC through Adwords is beyond me. If you want to learn PPC without the learning cruve of losing hundreds of $$$ then do so on engines such as 7 Search or Adbrite where you can get clicks for as low as 1 cent.

Sure there conversions may not be as high as Adwords, but it's a good starting point to learn whats involved in setting a campaign from keyword selection to split testing. I use 7 Search for CPA and average about one conversion for every 20-30 clicks, not much but considering it means I make anywhere between 1-1.50 profit, I'm happy doing that all day long.

Plus you can direct link to offers and affiliate products with 7 Search, something you can't do with Adwords. And your campaigns run immediately, you don't have to wait for approval. Learn to master engines such as 7Search and Adwords will be an easier beast to tame.

Get into the Google AdWords Learning Centre. That is the best way to learn the methods that Google actually recommends and you can get your Qualification to become a partner.

Commission Blueprint is actually a pretty good course even though some of it might be a little outdated.

A lot of the books give a good basis, but a lot of it will come from trial and error.

Also Adwords Miracle is good. A bit out dated, but still good.

And don't be afraid to learn hands on!

This is the learning curve I was talking about. It's all well and good for people to tell you to start using Adwords now, but if you don't have the funds to throw hundreds and hundreds of dollars at ad campaigns, it's very easy to become discouraged and give up on PPC.
