2. Blog Commenting: - Blog Commenting is another good method to build back links from relevant blog you can easily target your keyword in anchor text.

3. Social Bookmarking: - Social Bookmarking is a way to store bookmark or content at bookmarking sites. Always choose proper category to get effective result.

Many methods are available of build back links but according to my own experience these three are more effective than others what you say?

I agree with all of the above, as long as they are relevant, they are very effective white hat techniques. Another suggestion but these are all dependant on your type of business and can be time consuming:

• Having your own blog with valuable information that links back to your money site
• Using Social Media such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest etc to post to build up a community of followers who may share your posts and create free easy backlinks (works well for clothing, bars, club type business where people will share). This can be used either to your money site or your blog.

These two ways are very effective and white hat techniques but time consuming.

All three of these are fantastic link building methods to use...

...if you want your website listed in all of the anti-spam networks out there and if you never want to rank for anything the least bit competitive at all.

It doesn't really matter too much how or where you get the links. What is most important is the PageRank of the page that the link is on, the Authority of the domain that the page is part of, the number of other links on that page and the anchor text you use.

I tend to use article marketing on good (high PR), article directories, then build links into those articles from manual blog comments, wikis and forum signatures.

For less than $10 it would be possible to get this forum page to a PR1 or PR2. And given the Warrior Forum is a PR5 and has reasonably high authority, all our signature links on this page would then become quite powerful.

Blog commenting & forum postings can be helpful. However I would be very careful if you are planning on outsourcing, automating or using services for these methods. No one likes spam and your loss of reputation is not worth it.

Having real and meaningful conversations with people in the same niche and becoming an authority on a given subject, will build your reputation (not to mention backlinks) in the right way.

Among these 3 method Forum Posting is the most effective to me. I am building backlinks using forum posting for 2.5 years.

I don't think its all about spamming. These are established methods of building backlinks and there are difference between ethical link building and spamming. Which can be identified very easily.

I don't say blog commenting are effective - The reason is, say now you have no comments on a blog and you place your comment, on later days if the blog admin become inactive, then other spammers can spam the blog and place lots of links and that blog may become link-farm. You may not remove the links from that place even...!! this happens specially with the blogs that has good PR. Anyhow there are exceptional cases..... On the other hand, it is not easy to find blogs relevant to a niche that approve comments (even the comments are written well)

Also, I guess, you forgot the main and still rocking blogging using web 2.0 method...

Check your competitors backlinks using ahrefs.. read their backlinks and copy and improve.

I think it's safe to say that any method can be spammy if you are churning out 1000 links a day using the same method, same cookie cutter automated content no matter where you are posting. Hope nobody is doing any of that, because Google carries a big stick. But if you switch it up, use different methods, cover your tracks and provide some value in exchange for your links then you will get them.

Like for blog commenting, I use scrapebox, find high pr sites in my niche that have blogs that give do-follow links. I look for the choosy ones. Then I "court" them I make friends and get my links. Lots of times I butter them up with something helpful... send them some tips to cut down their loading time, or let them know about broken links or anything that might make their site more usable or SEO friendly. I just put it out there, they are tickled, I start up a conversation with them in comments and I get my links. Very good success rate with this, high PR do-follows folks. Sure, I could use scrapebox to blast everything with spam and maybe some of it sticks but if the webmaster accepts garbage posts then I don't want my site on there anyways. The point: any method can be spam if you don't put any thought into it, make friends in high (PR) places

Glad you pointed this out. So many people overlook researching the backlinks of their competition. I like to take a look at the top 10 results for keywords I'm interested in and see if I can get backlinks from the same, or similar, sources.

The sources the top 10 results are using are clearly helping them rank. So why not see if you can do the same?
