Just to let you know, there are no bad months to promote your online business. I learned that it is very important to stay consistent with your advertising at all times and let your marketing go on every single day of the calender year.

I say this because even though there are some months out of the year that are slower then others, people who don't buy what ever you are promoting right now will always bookmark your site for later consideration.

As I am writing this article, it is December. It is getting pretty close to the holidays and pretty much everyone is getting ready for Christmas. Well most of the population around the world who are celebrating it. People are now thinking about it, buying gifts for loved ones and are ready to relax after a long year of work. December is the slowest month of the year to build your internet business and get some new customers through the door. The best suggestion I have is to continue with your advertising and stay consistent.

From my 10 years experience making money online, the best months to advertise and get new customers are January to May. These are the best months because people are always looking for an opportunity and do join in the masses.

June to September will slow down a bit because kids go on summer vacation and their parents have to spend a whole lot of time with them at home. But again, your advertising should keep going and never stop.

Then September, when kids go back to school, more and more parents will have more time to go online and search for an online opportunity. But don't forget that not only parents are looking for some sort of a way to earn money online, but almost every young and old adults out there are in the same boat. So the market is HUGE.

From my own experience, when I got started online, I always thought that I should stop to promote in November and December because I thought that people will not buy and that my income will go down 50%-80%. That is what I thought when I was a newbie. Then my one of my mentors online said something that has made me advertise all year long.

He said that a lot of people, even in the holiday season, will bookmark your site for later consideration and that I should never stop my promotions. I tested this in December and he was right. Sales did stay up.
