Never purchase a list online. Always start from zero and work your way up to a ton of subscribers. This way, all of your subscribers know who you are, and they will contact you and interact with you as if they know you personally. And yes, this is a good thing. Nothing is better than having a list that likes you and trusts your recommendations.

I know you may be anxious for that illustrious first sale, but you don't want to rush things. Take your time and focus on building up a list into the thousands. Yeah sure you will make your first sale by the time you acquire around 300 leads, but if you want to see sales on a daily basis... you're going to need thousands of leads. But some simple paid advertising can handle this for you.

Generally depending on your business, you should be contacting your customers and prospects every 3 to 7 days. You don't want to wait too long after 5 days to email your list... you don't want them to forget who you are. So 3 to 7 days is a good amount. Here's the last email tip I want to share with you.

3) Get an autoresponder

An autoresponder is simply an online program that automatically sends out emails to your email list. One popular program is "Aweber". With an autoresponder, you can email your list all while doing the things that you love to do in your spare time. Because emailing everyone on your list would take you forever to do.
