I've just written a post on my blog about using the new cards option introduced by YouTube.

Unlike annotations, cards appear on all devices so you can use them to target mobile and tablet users.

    I dont see it that much. How am I suppose to correct errors and give additional information when youtube will remove annotation? Youtube card is not fully developed to replace annotation. I guess it will take some time to do so.

    It's not the end of YouTube annotations.

    But annotations don't show for mobile users and according to YouTube that's now over half the people viewing videos.

    So if you're only relying on annotations, more than half your viewers will never know they exist.

    Your choice but I'm gradually adding cards onto my videos (and keeping annotations where I've already used them).
