Day #4 - Action

You will have to excuse the briefness of this post (and possibly the next couple of days) as it is a bank holiday weekend here in the UK and in what can only be described as freak weather conditions - the sun is actually out here for a change.
I spent my 2 hours today planning out a my schedule for work and sketching ideas for a tools that I am planning to build to attract links.
The goal for the next week is to begin working on my marketing website and to publish some content for it.
Building something epic - for free
The reason that I am building a tool rather than creating an infographic or a pdf download is simple. I am by trade a web developer and not a writer. I find it so much easier to create high value tools than to I do to write good quality content that is up to the same standard.
The lesson here is draw on your own abilities. If you are a good writer, write epic shit. If you are a great artist draw something beautiful and if you are like me and are good with code then make something useful.
I am off to ride my bike and then get the BBQ out.
