What is that Voice Within?

Some hear it, and obey. They are then directed into the right way to act, how to get ahead, and most important are informed on what is important for them. These are the people that usually have confidence beyond the norm and can think out side the square. They are well adjusted and environmentally conscious.

Some hear it and ignore it. They choose to follow their own paths and may head for disaster. As the little voice says 'don't' something else says 'do' and they are on a collision course that may bring them a lot of heartache. It may also bring them disease, loss, and even death.

Some just don't hear it at all. They go about their business trying everything and following any good sounding scheme that might make them money and give them success. They measure life in terms of their achievements rather than their peace and contribution to that of others.

So what is that voice within and why does it have such an influence or not over us? In my experience it is the Spirit of the Universe, the great creative force to which we owe our life and what we make of it. It is the planner and whether we know it or not we are following its plan.

Some people hear that voice so loudly that it can tell them when things go wrong, warn them when they are in danger and alert them to an incident before it happens. Some people also see pictures of things to come.

This used to happen to me a lot. One day I was in a car park looking for a spot when I saw in my mind a car back out of a spot and then leave. Sure enough as I approached it the car did back out and leave just in front of me. Another day when driving alone I saw in my mind a car coming towards me suddenly veer in front and head straight for me. Sure enough the next car coming down the other side of the road suddenly veered in front of me and mounted the foot path beside my car. I had, by that time, stopped.

There are many instances of this phenomena and psychics tune into the Spirit but are not always aware of just who it is they are listening to. Some believe it is spirit guides that direct them but in my experience there is only one spirit.

Those of us who are affected by this inner voice are spiritual and we are not seeking fame, fortune or glory. What we seek the most is peace, love and happiness for ourselves and those around us.

So if you hear it and want to experience more of it then stop the noise of the world coming between you and it. Turn off the music, the make-believe, the false promises and get real. Meditate and seek its guidance and it will respond. The chances are that you are more spiritual than you think.
