Please Help Me Choose A Name For My Product

Hey warriors,

I'm brand new here and I'd like to get some opinion on what
angle you think would work best for a product name.

Here are the options I'm choosing from:

(reason prospects are buying the product) cure

(reason prospects are buying the product) miracle

(reason prospects are buying the product) solution

(reason prospects are buying the product) secrets

The truth about (reason prospects are buying the product)

I dont want to reveal my product niche but here are some
examples of what I mean if this was a fat loss product.

fat loss cure

fat loss miracle

fat loss solution

fat loss secrets

the truth about fat loss

Here`s an example if this was a web traffic product.

web traffic cure

web traffic miracle

web traffic solution

web traffic secrets

the truth about web traffic

Which angle do you think is the best to take and why do you think this?

And when I say best, i mean best in terms of conversions.

Please share your thoughts

James,

James, any one of those could work well.

A lot of it has to do with your niche. Pick one that nobody else is using and test it first.

      Hey Alex,

I agree with you that any of those would be a good choice.

No one in my niche is using any of those so I can choose any of them.

Right now I`m leaning towards the solution or miracle angle.

I think calling a product a miracle might set off the BS alarm in some prospects though so I`m hesitant to use that.

Do you agree with that or do you think the miracle angle is fine.

      Please let me know.

      James,

PS: I dont want to reveal my niche but I can tell you that it`s one of those niches where prospects are trully desperate and will try anything. I think a good comparison to this niche would be the penis enlargement niche where people will go as far as trying anything from pills to even surgery.

A similar niche, where prospects are truly desperate is the get-pregnant niche. And the product which is trouncing the competition is named "Pregnancy Miracle".

Without knowing your niche, though, I'm hesitant to pick "miracle" over any of the others. I was just using it as an example.

You can PM me if you want.

I don't think I'd be able to come up with a good name without knowing the niche. Not that you're beating down my door to get a suggestion, but if you want to PM me as well I wouldn't mind adding to your list of possibilities. Surprisingly, I have gotten the best names from someone who has absolutely nothing to do with the web.

Funny how it works, but for me it worked great.

People like buying "systems" and other implied references to being "complete."

    Food for thought!

      Thanks for the suggestion Dexx.

I dont think the system angle would work for my niche though.

I also dont think it would work for the weight loss niche.

Fat Loss System just brings a lot of work to my mind and people in this niche dont just want to lose wight ... they want to lose weight quickly with as little effort as possible.

I think the cure has the most power. Miracle sounds a bit corny. Secrets is very over use. OK so use cure.

      Hey man,

You're right about secrets being overused but theres only like 4 competitors in this niche and none of them are using that angle.

I also think cure is a good option but do you think its better then the solution angle?

      Let me know.

"miracle" will make people a little more hesitant...
"cure" is a much better option...
"system" works the best. Mainly because it sounds like there are a lot of "things"
    It makes it seem bigger.

For example, would you buy a weight loss cure or a weight loss system? The system sounds less like "marketing hype" and more like a set of things.

Another example, say you have an educational product...which sounds better? an educational miracle/cure or an educational system.

Thinking of each product as an individual product doesn't seem as big and awe-inspiring as a whole system, which is made up of many products and therefore (in the buyers mind) is more significant.

I hope my point came across ok.,..my starbucks hasn't kicked in yet, hehe

      Hey man,

The fact that it sounds like there's a lot of things is actually why I wont go with system.

A lot of things = more work

People in this niche are like people in the weight loss niche they dont like hard work.

I'm thinking the cure or solution angles are probably the best 2 options.

Which do you think is best between those 2?

    Hey guys,

Thanks a lot for all your input.

Earlier today I bought the domain name for my product and decided to go with the solution angle.

The secrets and mircale angle might have had more impact but theres also the risk that it will activate my prospects BS detector.

I think the solution and cure angle are the safest bet and out of the 2 my product name sounds better with solution in it.

Thanks again for all your input.

      James,
i think "solution" and "cure' are more realistic

I would also say that choosing an appropriate name depends upon ur niche. But I will certainly choose the 5th option (the truth about web traffic). It's more appealing than the others.
