Wow, here is an interesting article in the NY Times about how the Obama campaign used ideas from Cialdini and colleagues in the recent US election.

Interesting read for sure. So marketers are good for
more than just selling ebooks. They can also sell
an election of a US President.

I wonder how much they were paid for this consultation?

  They should have demanded royalties based on the popular vote.
  
  Two cents for every vote Prez Obama got (about 60 million) = $1.2 million.
