Need some advice with drop shipping please?

I am in the process of starting my own supplement store online. I have arrangements with about 7 different manufacturers and about 200 products. I am creating a business facebook page that will link to an e-commerce store with the products. My problem is this...Each manufacturer ships from a different location in USA. Some items obviously cannot be added to each other because of that. Also each manufacturer is charging different shipping rates. How to I combat this problem when creating my e-commerce store. Normally you could combine anything and when you get to shipping there is a rate, depending on where its going. How do I deal with this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Its a tricky problem with drop shipping especial when you have customers who order merchandise from multiple suppliers. Depending on your profit margin it may be difficult to make a profit on these order.

Here are a few tips that have helped us.

    * Often its more cost effective to have the suppliers ship to you and then you consolidate the merchandise into 1 package for each customer. This is especially true as you grow and have multiple orders like this each day.

    * If you begin to do this often you will notice trends about which products are most popular. It will probably make sense to keep those popular items in stock all the time.

Some drop shippers do not ever want to touch shipments but it can help save money on shipping.

The simplest solution would be to consolidate all of your products in the one fulfillment warehouse - by using Amazon FBA you could get all of your manufacturers to ship directly to Amazon - OR to a preparation 3rd party business which deals with your products and gets them precisely prepared for the Amazon shipping system - then all of the products would be managed from your Amazon account, the inventory all in one place. Of course you will have to pay fees for the preparation/shipping but at least it would all be manageable and logically organized. Fulfilling the shipping in one place is an obvious improvement on your current situation!

Yes I agree that using FBA may be very helpful for you. You could do it alnong with your regular ecommerce site. By having a portion of your inventory in Amazon's wearhouses you will get your shipping, fulfilllment, returns and customer service all taken care of and the fees are miniscule when you think about the huge amount of buyer traffic that is on Amazon's site.

+1. Amazon FBA is cheap for supplements, since they're so light and easy to warehouse.

If FBA isn't your cup of tea, then use a flat shipping rate for all products and factor the price differences into the final retail price.

    Hi Guys,

I'm looking for Drop Shipping Sellers for my products (wallets, phone cases, keyboard, T-shirt, belts and sunglasses) on eBay. How can I find real seller's on eBay? Also, I want to sell my products in USA, UK, Canada and Australia.

This would be grateful if someone tell me the whole procedure.

    Thanks
