Hey everyone. I'm new on the forum, but have been a fan for awhile now. You guys seem awesome and I honestly don't have a mentor or anyone to get help from in my life. I'm new to ecommerce and trying to make it happen to help support my family. I recently built a basic shopify ecommerce shop dropshipping wall art prints. I would be forever grateful if anyone that's knowledgeable could take a minute and look at my site and point out any newbie red flags that may jump out that could be a potential sales barrier. The site is www.wallartheadquarters.com.
Any thing is appreciated. Hope everyone has a great holiday!

Reduce the size of your Header so they can see part of the pictures, it looks to big and almost hit the back button.

Ok I specialize in eCommerce web design, so here we go,

If you choose Shopify platform, you will need to learn how to edit the theme, if you think it is to hard for you to do, you can purchase custom themes from Shopify,

    Now my info,

Did you check this niche on Google planner to make sure this niche has an audience that will visit the site, and did you build it with SEO in mind, like search phrases,

    Now Your design
It must be changed to make this work, try looking at a website that is in the same niche as you, and that does well, then look for a theme that can be modified to look like that one or close to it.

To make money online, you must have Three things right,
    Search Volume, Design, Marketing,
If not your wasting time and money, customers will leave your website if the design is not right and can not capture their attention, in the first 10 seconds.

Now what I do on my own eCommerce sites, I use WordPress, reason is, I like to own my websites not rent them, and not have to pay each month, and plugins cost a lot of money on the Shopify platform, but if your new to this, then, shopify can seem easier, but still has learning curve.

Many newbies start with shopify but then come over to WordPress after they learn,
    ok hope this helps you.

    Thanks Rob.

    The banner is terrible,

It doesn't look professional at all and you should change it

Agreed with the above mentioned comments. You should work on the UI of the website. Along with this, you should work on the SEO factors as well. You can use extensions for the same.

add links into the footer. i.e About Us, Contact Us, etc etc (currently your footer has no links)

Move the shipping and Returns from the nav bar down to the footer. left indent it instead of centering the text. make it more friendly. (you can have it sounds professional but more buyer friendly based on how you word it. (lower your shipping time also)

If these are custom made by you, then you can keep the longer ship time, but tell the people how you custom make them (that's a great selling point that others dont have)

I guess he made changes because the site I see is not that bad.

The real question is what is the marketing plan?

Mike, I'm totally trying to bootstrap right now and am working with a tight budget but I've been doing some facebook advertising as well as AdWords. Anything you can recommend that you think might help that's cost effective?

The Header is a lot better looking a lot smaller than it was. The site also loaded faster. Good to see the original poster has listened to some suggestions made here.

More than anything, I don't see that you offer any compelling reasons to buy from you. Is there a low price guarantee? A satisfaction guarantee? If so, you should be shouting that from the rooftops on every page with words and trust seals.

Your returns page contradicts itself. You say "You can submit refund requests up to 15 days after your order has been completed" but above that say to "Please allow 12-20 days shipping from manufacturer". Are you trying to say that they have 15 days after receiving their order to submit a refund request? If so, that is what it should say. Also, do they just get a refund by asking for one or do they need to send the product back?

What happens if the product is damaged when they receive it? Normally, a claim needs to be filed with the shipping company, but that is not addressed on the website anywhere.

All of your pages - home page, collection pages, product pages should be giving people a reason to buy from you. You never know which page a person may enter your website on and that may be the only page they see.

What is your privacy policy? Who are you (an About Us page helps with that)? What types of payment do you accept? Where do you ship to? Are there taxes and who pays them? Who pays for customs fees?

Also, conversions are usually better on websites that seem to be running a limited time sale (whether it is really a limited time sale or not).

Finally, shipping is so little on these things (at least to the address I used), I would strongly urge you to add standard shipping in with the price of the painting and have "free shipping". It is not only the #1 thing consumers say they look for when buying online, but there won't be any surprise charges when people go to checkout.
