Dropshipping - Having trouble around picking a niche

Hi, i want to ask about Dropshipping,so is it okay to select my niche to Swimsuits only, or go with Bodysuits.Also should i make the item free +shipping, or price + free shipping? Which is better, as i can see on fb ads, when they read "Get yours free now, just pay shipping" attracts more viewers? (clicks).I want to go with swimsuits or Bodysuits, for the coming summer.I dunno, i try to think as US citizen, and pretending to see my add (imaginated) and ask myself what US citizens think.How to find a unique item, apparently i don't know what US people want, nor how to find what they want (don't get me wrong .Can you help me out a bit, sorry for bothering you and taking time of your busy work.

-Oh and also, i have experience with fb ads, and how i should target, creating trustworthy shop(refund policy, shipping policy, about us page, good product text), i've once setted up a store ( general lol) and didn't have money for ads.So my plan is to make a targeting niche store, only to US cause of epacket of course, i want to keep my customers satisfied with shippings,refunds etc etc,create about 20 products for my store to look more legit, run 5 products first month with daily budget 5$ and find the winning product.I have a 200$ budget.     No one is going to give you a full tutorial in a forum thread. You need to be pro-active and use the forum search to answer the mutliple questions in your post. From choosing a niche to facebook ads - and even a recent thread about selling swimwear - you need to search for related posts and read them to learn info already available on this forum.

      Of course i dont want full tutorial, just any "tips" about the niche.Also as i read countless, and watched a lot of videos, they suggested to try US only for begginers, = no shipping prob etc(depends of the dropshipper) You understand right ?

    From what I have seen just on the shopify exchange there are a lot of swimsuit websites for sale, I think that niche is getting a little crowded. Not saying you can't make money you just have to be good at your promotion.

    I cannot imagine anyone in America thinking they are going to get any swimsuit of even marginal quality that is "free" so I'd definitely bag the free+shipping notion. I'd work the price of shipping into the price and then offer "free shipping".

      You've probably missed the business that went viral offering free swimsuits on Instagram where EVERYBODY was tagging their friends and their store absolutely went viral to the point they didn't have enough inventory.

      This strategy works. It is harder than before because more people are doing it, but people are doing it because it works.

        I wonder if they would have run into the same inventory problem if they were dropshipping, as the OP wants to do.

        As you said, the free+ shipping method ain't what it used to be.
