Merchant account alternatives for Canadians

Hi,

Im setting up my Shopify store for launch next month, but Ive run into a problem. The product Im selling goes against the terms of service for both Paypal and Stripe.

The product isnt illegal or controversial or anything, its just relatively new and in kind of a regulatory limbo right now.

So other than a big bank, are there any merchant account services that other Canadians have used that they could recommend. I can find a bunch on google, but its pretty hard to discern one from the other.

Anyone have some positive experiences with merchants other than paypal?

Thanks.
